Prima Guide

I know this has been talked to death before. But I can't hope or wish for a new updated Prima Guide or something similar.

I would love to get myself a book that refers to the lore, itemization, drop rates, etc... of what we had for the first Prima Guide.

Any hope at all that a new version of this would be coming out any time in the near future?
+1

sorry I had to.
...
Are you kidding me?

You know how long it took me to kill this subject! :)

Thanks for the response Mistryl. Not the answer I was hoping for though. I hope someday, maybe, you guys will plan on relaunching a brand new guide.
I agree, even today that guide is still useful in some ways, so it would be just great to have an updated version.
i still have the guide in pdf. it is the 'book' that brought me to play this game so i'm sure any kind of book with nice content art and story would do the same to others.
That guide is actually quite funny to read NOW, because so many things in it are so very wrong, even when it was made.

I wouldn't envy that task to anyone though, as quests alone change from Chronicle to chronicle, and in some cases mid chronicle when a patch comes out. Just keeping ahead of that, much less drops and spoils, skills... is almost futile.
the only thing that is useful in prima guide now is the 20 and 40 quest class change. still 98% accurate.
Yep, I still use mine to map out out how best to do the 35, 37 and 39 quests to save me time and adena.

SNAP!
Crystal value for crushing is still accurate as well. Just wish a new one would come out with new and updated weapons for those of us that do craft. Frankly that is the primary reason I still use my Prima guide. To have the crystal value of items close at hand. Invaluable for a Warsmith.
