from time to time, when I fight in necropolies mobs tend to lose it's agressiveness and after atacking them they are virtually stick to the ground, not moving even for an inch and hardly fighting with me (a pole user).
No I can't tell you what is wrong, but I also experienced normal aggro/social mobs just standing in the room for 40 minutes...you can pass by, as long as you don't hit they don't aggro. Personally a good thing, cause aggro mobs don't drop seal stones, so the less the better.
Some of the bugbears and Formors around Ivory Tower are the same. They just stand and take it !
Theres a massive bugbear Raid Boss standing there too. I keep asking myself, "Is he going to fight back ?". I've not risked it yet though.
Its not all mob and its not all the time.
I say delete this thread and leave things as they are :P
The same thing happens in Field of Whispers by the Cat/Necropolis (I can't remember which it is.) I told a clanmate about this and he says there is a bug that makes this happen sometimes in some of the cats. In the cases he and I observed, it was more pronounced if you slept the mob. It is kind of a nice break, even if DOT spells from my Orc Mystic also seemed to have no effect after casting on the mob.
I have noticed this too. Be careful tho; when I've encountered this, the mob does aggro, he just doesn't do anything for a while, then he attacks. So, if you hit one and pass by an aggro, you get the aggro adding in later. I'd 'pull' mobs and run to the hallway, but my party would have to wait up to a minute for the mobs to run out to attack us. Very irritating.
This bug is irritating when you are a pole user and level in catas/necros. and I'm a pole user.
I want agro mobs to be agro all the time and run behind me, not stand and do nothing :) NCsoft, make something with this, I want my part of fun from the game.
I would take him and make the rounds gathering together a group of werewolfs and once i turned and attacked one in the group. I noticed that at least 2-3 of them stopped following me, when i went up to them and attacked them they wouldn't fight back.
I think the NPC server ether bugged or just lagged out.
This happened to me a few times when I aoe'd; however, as soon as I exited my 2nd client running on the same computer, this problem ceased to exist. The mob aggro came fine; as soon as 2nd client was out, all the mobs rushed towards me, so it was kinda scary too xP That could be the problem if you're boxing multiple characters on the same computer.
is a server problem some times when you kill all the npcs there is a low change that they may not respawn at all. that has happen a few times in my server it is nice cause you can kill them without being hit. :)
