Not Cool =/

I recently engaged inn open pvp with my Paladin and, why in the hell can't i use shield stun. Its all a tank has basically to defend tself, well, maybe a paladin that is. i think its bull that i cant use it. im slow, and i dont do much damage so ncsoft, please throw us a bone here =).

Were they flagged?

I seem to recall that shield stun requires your target to be flagged.

was your target in Party?

yes they were flagged and no they weren't in hte party.

Did you remember to hold down Ctrl?

In clan? Aren't there some spells/skills that don't work against clannies?

If it makes you feel any better, shield stun does work in pvp. You were just doing something wrong.

Yes there are skills/spells that can't be used on Alliance or Clan members...Don't know if stun is one of them, but if he did the open PvP in an arena it should work regardless.

Probably he's not held down the CTRL button which allows PVP engagement.

Arena, by default, isn't really open PvP ... since open PvP implies field conditions.

I wager it's a clan/alliance-mate (they always count as 'white' to you in the field, no matter what state of flag they're in) or lack of control.

And yes, shield stun is not usable against whites. :p

Sounds correct to me. Indeed on allies and clanies you can't stun...Then again a bit more info on OP's part would make it a certainty ;)

In fact, my stuns tend to land on clannies way more often than on other people. :)
