BW+6 or Majestic

Hi, I wonder which set of armor is better, BW+6 or Maj+0. And what if the Maj is +3.

what are you gonna be doing with the toon?

Also, which BW and maj are you talking about? Heavy, light or robe?

Ah, i am talking about heavy armor. Class:BH and i want a heavy set for fighter ( i dont like doom). i will enchant the bw set myself.

I think you should try for the BW +6. When you are done let us know how much it cost, and how many different parts you blow up.

If you want more damage, go for Tallum, OE BW won't give you more damage over time.

I recommend Tallum Heavy for any dwarf, as thats the best you can do to increase you already so gimped damage.

The BW +6 is very nice -- almost 100 more pdef than my tallum (all +3 or 4). The run speed helps too, as do hp and mp regens. I am selling mine on Hindemith as I have IC set now. Good luck!

Thank you all. I am not the dd in the party, so i prefer pdef and mp regen(to spoil more). So i think i'll enchant my bw set to +6. :)

ah, btw, i am trying to spoil eab myself, so i can reduce the cost of enchanting.

The only reason I would of considered BW heavy over Tallum is for mp regen.
Also with tallum vs Maj, tallum gives way more damage, and maj's +acuracy is not very important, and if you are using blunt that acuracy makes completely no difference on spoilable mobs.
For my main I picked A armor, but for me heavy is pve only, and focus on damage output more then anything else. Curently working on getting it to +6, will be then my "S" armor as well as future sub's A armor.

LOL yes cutting down on the cost of EAB is really going to reduce cost in the end for +6'ing your BW.

getting a-grade armor to +6 is too expensive for me. I am only lvl 64 now.

you will save a lot of money if you buy that +6 set yourself, unless you are very lucky with enchanting.

no, 110-150 is more expensive than enchanting myself.
the chance for me to get +6 is 30%. it means i only need 100m for it. I can get a lot of my money back from selling the crystals. So finally, the cost is only about 60m :)

Actually according to a trusted source of mine (someone with access to the inside scoop), armors have a variable enchant rate that falls as you enchant to higher levels.

Also, weapons with SAs already put on them have a constant 50% chance instead of 66%.

Take that with a grain of salt. I trust my source as reliable, though.

nc says the rate is 66% for everything
even if it was 50, 70, 10% doesnt meant thats what you will get, i failed a 95% enchant and 30 seconds later i failed a 97% enchant
l2 random number generaton can be a female dog at times

When EAD's where cheap I bought a ton of them and tried to enchant 1 ring to +6. I blew up at least 7 of them and not one made it over 5.

as far i can tell you you can get lucky by enchenting all your armor without blowing 1 or you can blow 20 armor unit's at 4

my clan leader had to enchant 78 zubei boots before he got one +6.

I didn't mean to get into percents, I just wanted to point out that doing it yourself isn't always saving money.

Hey, Imp Crusader costs about as much on lionna, and Tallum+6 is way better for me and will be usable for future sub as well. So far blew 300-350m, got all but the helmet. Had 3 atempts on helm so far.
