I'm currently decinding on what class to play and coudn't find any answers on the internet so I thought I could get some help around here.
I'm trying to decide whether play a gladiator or a silver ranger.
I like both classes for some reason (silver ranger because I like range in general and gladiator because 2 blades are just awesome style).
My question is which one of the doeals more damage and how do they do in PvP (solo and mass) and PvE groups and which one is better for what purpose, or does one of them exceed the other at both?
Gladiators are slow and only gain real strength when they become high lvl just like tyrants. And since they are a melee char with no current speed enhancers or any ability to slow people down they can have a hard time unless they can get them within 600 range so they can spam TSS.
Silver Rangers are the only archers with no body to mind spell and are the ones with shared highest unbuffed critical rate with hawkeyes. They are the weakest of the three archers but the fastest run speed and the fastest attack speed (very slightly faster than hawkey in the beginning, but gets better). Basically a kiting hit and run archer. Archers are very good in PVE and in PVE and can mostly solo pretty easily, but at later levels you will want buffs. Bad thing about archers is the SS cost and the Arrow cost, it wil cost you alot to grind with it.
Archers are better at dealing damage than Gladiators and thusly it might be easier to get groups with the archer. But archers are also boring in PVE all you do is target and shoot and nothing else. A gladiator has more skills to use and has to use skills to do more damage than just autoattacking but these skills feel quite underpowered at lower lvls.

to hash out the deatails for you would mean nothing as you are new.
so let me break it down in terms youll understand.
what it all comes down to is style. while the elves look rather horrid to most, humans can as well look and feel horrid. the gladiator has some ranged attacks that are very powerful at higher levels, but the silver ranger has a lot MORE range thats coverable, and one of the fastest shot speeds.
the ranger being the far more common class played due to its pvp overpoweredness at uber levels, but the glad is so well rounded that its hard to pick whats easier for him. pvp wise he can really hurt if he is played properly, but can also be taken out in a few quick strokes if you know what youre doing. gladiators have higher HP than silver ranger, so endurance is something of an upper hand. more health means more time to notice you need some potions.
levelling wise, the gladiator spends less money to make more money, whereas the silver ranger spends money in arrows and mp to kill with nevermind the potions and shots.
i would pick Gladiator simply because its a much cheaper route to go in the end game.
hmm, archers are more expensive in end-game? I can se that in Cgrade, but after that too?
10k A-SS last like 3 times as long with my TH when using a bow instead of my dagger. I never buy arrows, they drop everywhere so, at least for me, bow>dagger(or any other wep) for costs.
