I am strating to look at puting tats on my WC and am unsure of which I should be looking at. What are the usual tats that one puts on a WC? I assume I am looking more towards MP boost, MP regen and/or casting speed?
OK wow. sorry didn't proof read that last post but I hope you all got the idea. I am starting to look at putting tats on my WC not "strating to look at puting". Must be one of those days for me. USA English FTW :(
You don't really lose that much MP. It's either "Cast Faster" or "Have more Mana". And with -4MEN you lose something ridiculous like 32 Mana. And you gain a lot more Casting Speed.
Since WC are defensive mages they can not touch their INT, only WIT and MEN.
Imho, dont think -8 or -10 con (BW, tallum, maj heavy) is a realy good idea. And unless you go for dagger I doubit the difference for +dex will make much of difference. Personaly I didn't dare to go that much -con. Got just +5 str on me now.
I play on the Hindemith Server. I try to Rec you when I see you around but your usually already to blue :) Though I have puruposely stood or sat next you to get a photo off... :D
max HP means little to a WC if you are soloing or in a small party in a cata. Any add can be slept and hp can be recovered easily by draining them.
+dex helps elimnate the horrendus accuracy of this class (the lowest acc in the game) . I found hitting green evasion mobs tough at some points.
Until 66 the Best Xp (excluding AoE parties) is finding a gladi, destro or bd to duo with. In addition until past 52 the DPS of WC's isn't much lower than the DD's they duo with.
at 66+(all the buffs but vr4) large parties become easier and cata duo/trios become harder.
Until 52+ I would suggest a +4 str +4 dex -8 con and +4 wit -4 men setup. Use a 2h sword, Crits make it deal alot more damage over time and until u can self buff guidance2 a dagger isn't worth it (you miss too much due to its low accuracy). In addition a 2h sword has decent m atk which is needed for your mage skills.
