I have Battle Roar 5 and Bless Body 5, both provide the exact same final HP but Battle Roar does not last as long as Bless Body buff (10min vs. 20min).
I was under the impression that you couldn't override a buff unless it was either a better buff or a longer buff. In this case, if you use Battle Roar 5 it will override Bless the Body 5 with the 10min timer even if Bless Body 5 had more than 10min left. It seems to me that in this case Battle Roar should only provide the healing benefit but not the buff if the buff time is less than the existing buff.
battle roar is actually a better buff than bless the body. when you buff with battle roar it increases max hp and restores hp. when you buff with bless the body it increases max hp. battle roar also overrides body of avatar, due to its coolness.
And the newbie ww1 buff overrides ww2 from a qualified healer/buffer. I don't see how battle roar is better than BoA though, it has the same effect, but BoA lasts longer.
Careful what you ask for though. They may decide if you have BTB or BoA, your battle roar will not be usable:

Why would it be a buff? They have equal priority because they both have advantages over the other (duration vs effect strength). Thus, much like soulshield and shield and whatnot they overwrite each other.

Oh, we're talking about novice buffs? I'm pretty sure that novice ww is effect 2, so it goes without saying it would overwrite any other ww buff. Not entirely sure about haste.

I seem to recall newbie WW being the same as WW2 (I can try later tonight). Empower, on the other hand, is gimp but rebuffable.
Maybe it's a bug. As a workaround, try to remember to use Battle Roar before you get the BTB buff. Then at least you'll have max HP for a full 20 mins.

At this time, I use Battle Roar solely for the instant heal not the buff. It gets used up to 4 times per buff cycle to charge up HP after I run it down to activate Frenzy, Guts, or Zealot. So, if I use it the 4 times I have no problems as my max HP stays up the full buff cycle. But sometimes I use it less often and so the Battle Roar buff drops and so does max HP.
This is a manageable issue. I was just wondering if this was the intended function or a bug.
