Which server for a "new" player?!

Hello,

I just renewed my L2 subscription !!!

:)

I currently have my old main character on lionna. I was wondering which server is considered the most helpful and fun these days. It would be cool if there was one that had more rerollers/new people than others!!

THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS!!
Let me ask...

What level and race/class is the character on lionna?
Reroller population would be highest on Franz and Teon I suppose, as the two new (Euro) servers.

Lionna is still a pretty vibrant server. Of course I play on Sieghardt and there's plenty of room for you here. =)
My old character isnt that great.

lvl 40 shamen going warcryer.

Is lionna as "vibrant" as, lets say, the average server?
Average server? Yes. Bartz still boasts a high population.
Do we even have an average server :p ?

I just look at it as you are more established on lionna, that is unless you stripped your character and gave everything away.
Agreed, splatter.
if youre willing to "ease" into l2 again, and have about 100k already, you can make around 2m a day (some days you can pop nearly 300m) by fishing.

yes, by fishing.

to start, grab a cheap rod, and some Day lures. fish until youre comfortable with knowing how the system works. once you can catch every cast, grab a handful of night lures, and test your skill. careful! once the fish's health meter is red, the rules for fishing reverse.

open your fishes, convert everything to proofs and sell them 200a each overnight.

you should make around 200k clear profit the first time. now buy MORE lures, and FISH MORE. eventually, youll make 600k profit, then 1m profit, then (when you can fish with the pro's) 6m overnight in colored scales and proofs alone.

i dont know why more people dont fish.
 Don't think the mod liked my post :)
Come to Erica, it rocks....and will keep surprising you. Check out the Erica thread below.

You said convert.... do you mean convert the actual fish without opening? And I assume that can be done at the Gordon's guy?
no. i mean "use" the fish, open them yourself.

now it may surprise you jsut how many POCF you need to make 2m when u sell for 200a. it only equates to 10k.

2k pocf is normal for a lvl 12 fishing mastery in 3 hrs fishing by day. thats only 200 lures and doesnt account for party mask fabrics/gems if u dont turn those in.

in 200 lures, you might get 15-30 gems, and about 100 recipes. make sure you have a dwarf for this to begin with, as slots and weight are required for this.

those that know how to make up the difference are those that can skillfully nightfish.

byw, scales and bones are good to just sell for adena too. make sure you do the math: proofsthatwouldhaveresulted*proofworth for each scale / bone. most fioshers that want to make HUGE money fast are those that are crafting the eyepatch/hairpins etc. naturally theyll fish up the fabrics, buy the gems and scales/bones. you could price the gems/bones/scales to 50k each and the hairpin/accessory would still sell like a hotcake and make a lot of profit very fast.
I think my fish success rate is about 1 in 3 or 4
meaning when I try opening them.
yeah, thats common.
Come to Kain and I will give you free NG fishing equipment and fishing lessons if needed. ^^
A warcryer is a very nice class and in demand. I'm sure plenty of clans on Lionna would welcome you with open arms and this server feels quite alive. That said, if you'd rather play a different class and want to start all over, lvl 1-40 take a lot less time these days than they used to.
Never, Never put a foot on Sieghardt! :(
I say stay on Lionna, it is decently active and clans are constantly shouting that they are recruiting all lvls, Plus, I am there, which in itself makes it worth being on Lionna(although Gecklar the character no longer exists)
