Regret

we have all done things in our lives that we regret, im curious what the rest of the world has done..

personaly one thing that i deeply regret was not takeing the time to talk to my a close friend of myne days before he took his own life. we meet in the grocery store and he seemed out of sorts....but i was so preoccupied with geting chips and soda for a little get to gather that i just waved hi and rushed along with what i was doing...days later i found out he took his own life....it tares me up knowing that i had the opportunity to talk to him and possibly let him let out what ever was eating him up so much...

so what have all of you dont that you regret?

One evening when I had had a few drinks I told my ex's brothers mother-in-law to be (hope you followed that) exactly what type of bloke he was - he had a habit of cheating on his girlfriend, sleeping around and making passes at people when he was out without her.

The following morning I woke up completely oblivious, until he called my ex and told him what I had done. It took weeks before anyone spoke to me and I had to apologise so many times.

I only regreted it because I had upset the girlfriend. Everything I had said was in fact the truth. They are no longer together as it happens. She left him for someone else two years later.
