3 minutes before the end of a clanhall auction in which we were going to make a major bid on the franz server.. as our clan merged and a clanhall transfer was taking place.. the npc server went down..
not only did we get screwed out of our clanhall but the clan that bid, got the clanhall for 400 mil.. this is an outrage and i will be taking this all the way to korea if i have to..
This is so unfair. This is something that needs to be fixed. NCsoft needs to do their jobs. And their job is to run the servers stable. Npcs went down few minutes before Bid period ends. I DEMAND TO FIND A SOLUTION ABOUT THIS!!! I DEMAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats why i pay to play this game. So that i am satisfied from it, not getting upset for things that i cant control

It does matter because if you got your bid in before time ran out and had the higher bid then they usually do something. Now you might be out of a clan hall until new ones are brought in. Anyway I suggest making a ticket in the support section because shouting it here might/might not get you help. A ticket would make things more official.
you have no idea what you are talking about... im trying to get ncsofts attention.. we have over 500 petitions in game and petitions in support.. this is an outrage.. if this does not get resolved i will never play another ncsoft game as long as i live
I have a feeling that this will not be resolved.. we have been waiting in game for a response for quite a long time now.
When your about to make a bid of 2 billion adena and the NPC server goes down, how can you not think conspiracy.. how can you no think that this game is poorly moderated.
This has left a bad taste in the mouths of hundreds of our friends on the server and abroad.. This is a prime example of what is wrong with the game, and why this game is dieing
wow... why does this not surprise me? why do people still play this game? the GM's have answered all of my petitions. i have petitioned like 1000 times. and once and only once i actually got a gm to help me live...

i was too mad to reply to this before, but we waited until the end because noone on franz has that type of money yet. we were waiting till the last minute to either take it off the market if a major alliance bid on it or make our bid.. but because the npc server was down we couldnt even take it off the market

dont keep your hopes up. NC suck where it comes to issues like this.
well our clan leader has gone to bed so we cant see the actual email he recieved from head GM phillip but i hope he says something we want to hear because we have about 50 active clan members about to quit the game due to the incompitence of Ncsoft.
The worst part is the clanleader of the clan that won the hall is gloating and making shouts laughing
For an issue like this, it's very unlikely they'd take the clanhall away from the ones who won it; they'd have just as many angry people on the other side then.
Why didn't you bid earlier? No reason to wait until the last minute if you want to bid max anyway. It is important to be the one to bid first if you fear it might be more than only you who bids max.
The bidding system is so that if several people bid max, the one who placed his initial bid (whatever it was, even if it WASN'T max) will win. Happened to us: we bid on a clan hall as the first bidder, but not max (had to borrow some money first), another clan DID bid max (as we found out later when we talked to them, they even petitioned about it because they were the first to bid max in that auction), then WE raised our bid to max. We got the clan hall. So "first to place any kind of bid" seems to be the deciding factor when several clans bid max. By the way, their petition did not change anything. The only thing which came out of it was that the GM confirmed that they bid max first and that the GM, too, thought that whoever bids max first wins - so they informed the devs about it. But the auction result was never changed.
we didnt have max bid at the time we started the bid.. i want to remind you guys that WE owned the clanhall in our previous clan.. and we were trying to move it to our new clan. if we felt there was going to be a threat on the bid we would have taken off the market but we couldnt becuase there was no npc.. now do you see our predicament?
What happens when the server goes down 3 minutes before siege sign up ends and allies for the defenders didn't sign? Screwed.
What happens when the server goes down 3 minutes after a siege starts and the defenders lose all the mercenaries they paid for.. and they never come back? (Not to mention golems on the attacking side..) Screwed.
What happens when you dropped your expensive a grade helm, wait for a rez and a rescue party, the server goes down once you see the rescue party.. and NC doesn't give your stuff back because it's been sitting on the ground for 45 minutes? Screwed.
What happens when your pet dies and the server goes down? Screwed.
