Cause of death was easily avoidable. When a horse is lame it takes weight off of it's injured leg. This obviously puts more weight on it's healthy ones.

The added weight was too much and laminitis set in. Just negligence there, horse makes you $2mil plus and you let it fall victim to one of the most common ailments for recovering lame horses.

I'm sure he'll taste great though! :D
