Ive recently started a new alt who I am planning to make into a SR. Ive never really used bows before (my main is a Bladedancer) so only now did I realize on my bow that it has a SS count AND a SpS count.
I was curious about that and wondering if anybody could explain it to me. Do I use one or the other? Do I use both? Is there any particular option that comes out to have a greater damage increase than another?
I appreciate any replies. Thank you for your time.
The only skill you have that requires Blessed SPS is entangle. I always have about 50 of them and a macro that loads them whenever I try to entangle someone.
all weapons have a SS and SPS count
the general rule is the higher in the grade the weapon is the more SS/SPS it uses
a low ng weapon will use 1 ss and 1 sps a high grade ng weapon will use 3
bows are a bit different and a top grade ng bow i believe uses 7 SS or SPS
at B grade and higher all weapons use 1 ss/sps (is that true for bows?) so it becomes easier to hunt despite the fact they kinda weigh more
some stuff most ppl dont know/care about (on gustin but more than likely most servers)
CSS is the most efficient shot to craft per item per mp
BSS is the most efficient shot to craft per profit/item per mp
*** is the most efficient shot to craft per unit profit ratio
havent been a SS crafter for a while but i think my ratios are still correct despite the huge change in crystal prices on my server
bsps is good to use with entangle, and with heals (if your soloing, and dont have any pots on you). They're the only two skills you have which could use bsps (other than self buffs)
ok, for bows, D grade is 10 SS per shot (cheaper to use a dagger) C is 10 (on emi) B is 3, A is 2 and finally at S grade its 1 SS per shot (for an SR especially, its about weight manipulation for longer hunting parties.) and using sps or bsps with your heals is not a good idea, its very MP intensive heal and you dont have all that much mp to begin with (even w/ a cheapshot bow, less your hunting where mp pots drop too)
