Noobie question #2

I posted earlier this week about my gf and I playing. We are leveling along and, yes, I did reroll Dark elf.

We did the quest where you escape portal to the castle...but couldn't figure out how to get back to the starting city to level. This is a predicament...so I decided to run outside and die hoping that would port me back.

It didn't and put me at the closest city..some port city. How do I teleport from this port city to the starting area? There are no newbie guides for me to use tokens with. She is still in the castle...how can she port back?

Please help us...we are noobs.

The city your stranded is called Giran ^.^

Open your map and look for the Luxery Store. Go there and talk to the male dwarf, he will offer a quest where you will get a "Scroll of Escape: Dark Elfen Village".

sounds like you ended up in heine ....

either u try to walk back to giran (press alt+m to open map; giran is north of heine) by carefully following the road (stay on it because mobs in that area are lvl40+ ;) ) or find the gatekeeper (that NPC has that title over her head and is somewhere in the middle of town) and port back to giran if u have enough adena

Can you dual wield weapons as a fighter?

you can use dual swords once you reach level 20, but they have to be made into duals (that is, you cant just equip two separate swords). check out the blacksmith shop in town for the cost of making the weapons.

fyi - the cheapest duals will run you about 900k; the most commonly used d-grade ones are known as 107s (due to their patk). these will cost approximately 1.9m to make

Try looking into the manor system and/or fishing in order to make some money. :) Making money is an important part of L2.

If you are both dark elves and if you are in Giran still, you would do this quest (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/index.php?id=15141) to get a scroll to get back.

If you are another race you would just pick the one for your race from the same NPC.

Well, he ran outside with the purpse of dying with the hopes he would be teleported back.

I remember when C3 was on PTS (when TOI was introduced... I think that was C3) and I ran everwhere including to the second floor of TOI.

IT can be done.

roads are there for a reason

Aggro mobs close to roads are there too. Going the south road through EG for instance :)

run west from giran, either the north road which is safe, or use /unstuck if you get to entrance of execution grounds, you will land in Dion
