Hello guys,
I am kinda new on Lineage II world. I bought the game like 3 day ago and i wasnt sure of what class to make! First of all i want to be rich so dwarf is for me! After this I dont know what is the BEST class to be rich and level is it Scavenger or Artisant. I think i can make object for money and sell for alot of cash but i will need to buy the item from a scavenger so I am better to take a scavenger? Well i want to level fast and get cash to buy nice armor. I dont know witch one is the best in pvp and if they are accept in Groups so i need to know!
PS: I want to know is it better with a blunt , 2h blunt or a polearm?
Well thanks to help me to make a dwarf

Polearm will help you level the fastest. Find a friendly Shilien Oracle/Elder, and you'll be able to pole in catacombs/necropolis's.
As for arti vs scav... artisan's make a lot of their money in craft shops, where scavengers make it through leveling. I personally feel arti is more rewarding.. I love getting a new craft lvl, and trying to find the recs that I want for that level. Scav's are more welcome in groups though, because they spoil items for the group. WS is more of a clan class, less of a group class.
I like scavy because you can go out and spoil all kinds of things, many of which are spoil only or have horrible drop rates and much better spoil rates. I would die sitting in town all day anyway.

NEITHER. If you want to pvp with any real success you want to roll an archer or Nuker. (Or a Necro) None of those are cheap however and it helps to have some money already made before you level them full tilt. Dwarves (either of them) are dead last in both pvp and pve output. The artisan has slightly more pvp ability due to the golems, and the Scavenger has slightly more adena due to spoils.
Neither however will make much more money ingame compared to any DD or manoring character however. As well the spoil tables are rotten with many items being drop only while the levels below B grade (~L52) are a near wasteland for crafting. As a result, you can pretty much craft with any character by using one of the dwarven craft shops in Giran for less effort than leveling an actual dwarf.
I strongly suggest making best use of the seven chars per server you are given and trying out the various classes in the 1-20 levels. These go very fast with the newbie buffs and is the best way to decide what the first character you really want to put any real effort into will be. Once you have decided that, you can relagate the others to be support (manor/farm/gear) for your 'main' is the best way to proceed until you find a clan/friends to play with.
...if you do decide to go with a dwarf, a 1H or 2H blunt is the safest/best choice to start with. I advise not bothering with a pole unless you can find some healer/buffers to help out OR if you can afford the gear and consumables to make do solo. Just know that will be expensive however.
none of those ppl play a dwarf as a main but PainAmplifier got the closest to a real dwarf opinion
i play a reasonably high lvl maestro (artisan) and i can honestly say dont ever play a dwarf
pick a dagger or geez any of the orc family will do better
do not listen to the ppl who say play the class you enjoy
L2 is a very long game and you dont want to play for a year or 2 only to realize the only advantage of your class is it make 5% more adena than a lazy player and the same adena as someone who puts effort into makeing money
I have both and in my opinion, I like the scavy better. I love to see what mobs spoils what and fake death rocks!
Also, I don't really believe dwarfs are good for PVP. My scavy was built around PVE. Currently I have a +4 STR -4 CON and I want to complete my other two slots with +1 STR -1 CON, +4 DEX -4 CON.
Well thanks every one. I think i will make a char to lvel fast and do some pvp. I want to ask you what char can make both. I am open to all idear. I think a range or spell char would be nice! Acctualy i need to Main so he need to be able to kill mobs for my futur ALT. I think silver ranger are the best? i am not sure but i think they cost soo much? and they arent realy accept into groups? well is it a good idear...
Thanks for awsner!

glad to hear that
archers are wanted in party the problem is most of the time they dont want/need parties
for a first character i strongly suggest a close range one since your best bet is to start manoring early
maybe a tyrant or destroyer or dagger or even a summoner if you are into that
bladedancers are a great class
perfect for any party and with reasonable soloability (great solo power at high levels)
the negatives to the class is that they arent really that great at pvp (although still useful) and you are a buffer no matter how you look at the class so if you go to pvp and all they want you to do is dance thats prolly what you should do
When you decide to reroll (which you most certainly will), just go Spellhowler. Easy to XP, cheap to equip, and excellent damage in PvP. Bladedancers are seriously lacking in the PvP skills.
Well i am not sure of this, but alot of people think Spell caster have too much downtime for a main char. I think i will make an archer or a tyrant not sure those classes are the best but it look fun isnt it?

i answered your pm but i think i missed the spellcaster one
they do have a fair bit of downtime but if you hunt in the right areas even solo is fairly good
get a SE or EE to follow you around and you are the fastest killing class in game
great in pvp if reasonably buffed but somewhat lacking if fully buffed (although still ok)

Spellhowler is probably the cheapest mage to play and has about the best MP management that can be hoped for. I know mine had a manageable downtime from L1 to L40. (Which is where it is for now, until I can get the rest of it's spellbooks.)
Especially when I compare the downtime to what I had as a melee before they added the herbs! (The new HP herbs make melee quite a bit less painful these days if you have to solo.)
I will say however, that playing an Archer to start with is a bit worse than a nuker in regards to downtime though. Using a bow takes MP and archers simply run out of it too fast. At least until you can get a 'Cheap Shot' (SA) bow. Later levels are a bit easier on MP as well. But even most archers agree, it's easier to use a dagger up through L40 than it is using a bow. And many still carry a dagger as backup for when MP runs out. Heck, my LE Scout (Pre-Dagger/Archer Class Split) uses a set of Duals!
Granted, I keep that char in the 22-35 level range for manoring, but I leveled a Shillien Knight using the exact same gear without any problem.
Hmmm...to give you an idea, my seven chars are currently
Overlord (my highest level char at the moment...)
Bounty Hunter
Warsmith
Destroyer
Shillien Knight
Scout (Light Elf, First Class change, perma manor char)
Spellhowler
I've played a few of the other classes on the PTS or deleted them to make room, but I'll probably stick with these and just subclass when I want to try the rest.
i see there is already some good info here but ill drop mine anyway...
if you really wanna be rich you need both.... and not jus 1 of each i have lowbie WS that hold the recs for the material crafts and a higher WS that hold the recs for weapons and armor and the higher lvl mats they are both 100% town bound and equipts w/ conversion weapons and bw robe on the weapon armor crafter for max mp increase and bw light on the mat crafter fro mp regen they both have shot recs also
i have multiple scavs/BH whos lvls range like this
28-34
40-45
50-54
and 65+
all but the 65+ are solo only and they spoil and manor when possible when they reach the lvl i dont want to go over i delvl them as certain items spoil/drop better at certain lvls
the 65 is my main spoiler i delvl her periodicly if im spoiling in a area and decide id like to stay there for a while but i keep her lvling up for the most part
all of my dwarves have been 100% pve +4str +5dex (+1 +1 on the lowbie)
i have a 2box prophet and SE and my brother has a Doomcryer to buff us when i duo w/ his BD
having a choice of spoiling almost every mat in game at anytime and being able to craft most mats and alot of armor/weapons and shots makes alot of $
spoiling B and A enchants is also real big bussiness right now and you can make a killing
true having to lvl buffers and all these dwarves has resulted in my main being alot lower lvl than he should be after nearly 3 years but w/ dwarves and manoring ive made alot of $ and been able to gear my main and alts w/ highend gears wich makes them nice for pvp
i do suggest you play WS or BH only as a alt $ maker and not a main cause trying to fast lvl them or pvp with them is a huge loss of income
