gonna have to lvl my se's sub and still have a subclass for myself so i can do sin eaters so i figured destro was the way to go

so far the dude is clean and if i was gonna boost any stats it would prolly be +dex
+dex -con a good option?
is vicious stance worth useing? the thing drains alot of mp and while i can keep the mp up with recharges it still is abit taxing
do double handed masteries (or whatever its called) work on poles?
i think i have the hang of guts and frenzy but it kinda reminds me of the ski instructer from sout park "if you pizza when you should have french fried, youre gonna have a bad time"
any tips there would be good
atm im pulling 2 or 3 cata rooms and mainly useing rage with the odd battleroar thrown in to keep me alive
doesnt seem worth letting mobs beat on me for frenzy since they usually die pretty quick anyway

+STR is all you need. Dex can be fine too for more accuracy with a polearm, I dunno. But definitely +STR, provides way more damage than DEX dyes give. Question is how much you want to gimp your HP when poling.. heard HP is good :P
I'd rather use my MP for skills rather than VS.. doesn't add that much.
Two handed masteries doesn't work with poles, AFAIK.
I only played Destroyer to 52, but try to use a risk haste dagger when activating Rage and Frenzy/Guts, they will refresh much faster! You can have (almost?) constantly rage activated, from what I hear. Frenzy is always good :)
40-45 ish, you can get really good xp pulling Snipe Groups in Cruma. Or you could try the catacombs and pull trains in branded, which may be harder depending on how many people are there.
After 45 it just depends on what you feel like, catacombs are always going to be faster if you can get enough mobs, there are other spots around. You can run trains in Garden of Eva in your 40's just run around the ring and tuck into a corner when you have enough mobs. From 50 on up Cats and Necs are the best bet. Although you can train in Giants Cave and ToI if you feel like trying to get quest items for a grade.
I say go without tats until later, you are more balanced without them and can still obliterate mobs.
you are the second person to suggest snipe groups to me
currently im pulling 2 or 3 rooms at branded for about 4% a pull at 44
mobs give idk like 6-9k xp each and die in about 10 seconds
only buffs i have is lvl 74 se buffs and gsaps (and btb 5 from my staff)
think snipe groups can beat that?
also im definately gonna try goe, noone ever goes there on my server but farmers
what lvl should i be there at? and what paras?
Frozen Lab does not have fast enough localized respawn for a buffed Destro. It's a goldmine for a spoiler, though, and is an OK place for a Warlord with Provoke (watch out for chests, though :D)
If you don't need to worry about your equipment then go catacombs and use polearm [I spent 3 levels trying to get A armor recipes in GC and still didn't get the one I needed so ended up buying the armor - would've been way better off sticking with the catacombs]. Start with +4 STR tattoo and keep the Accuracy toggle skill always on. Later you will want to add +4 or +5 to DEX to improve run speed and accuracy although I still don't have it.
XP is super fast up to about level 55 when the only catacomb mobs that stay green or white have stun. Lionheart and War Frenzy just don't really help stunning mobs all that much. So poling gets a lot more painful up to about level 60 or so then the Necropolis of Devotion becomes by far the best XP spot. It may even work out OK in Devotion with +4/5 DEX and +4 STR and the Accuracy toggle at earlier levels (about 58).
The only problem with catacombs is finding enough open rooms. Bots aren't that big of a problem, they are easy to convince to leave after dropping a few big mob trains on them, but there are lots of legit players too.
The part of Devotion I'm in the mobs are purple now so I'm looking for the next good spot. I think deeper in Devotion will work out OK [the 65+ mobs] but some of them do stun so it will take a bit of time to work out the best way to pole there.
It was nerfed in mid-C5 patch. But it still could be OK if you know the place well. And it's not bad moneywise for lowbies (but I guess it's irrelevant for you).
The +STR, +DEX, -CON thingie was for later game, should have mentioned that ^^ Or you can use that setup if you go with a twohander, not poling. It also works if you have a second poler that actually does the pulls. Imho, tats should be something you think of at 60+, or if you really want, get that STR tattoo even now.
before i changed my sub the first time, i went +4str+4dex-8 con... and let me tell you.... running 2-3 rooms in the catas is not fun when you have low hp. SP FTW!
That is why I still only have +4 STR, -4 CON right now. But I am planning on getting the DEX tats soon. I want the run speed boost to help out with pulling rooms. Plus the attack speed boost of 5% will help out by reducing the cooldown on Frenzy, Guts, and Zealot about 8 seconds.
