I'm new to Lineage and just started playing about 3 weeks ago. Right now I have a lv20 Elf wizard and I'm looking for an active clan to join. I was wondering if there were any clans on Kain that are all Elf. If not I'm very interested in joining a good sized clan that is very active because its getting lonely out there. So far I've spoken to 2 characters that werent bots =(

Let me tell ya, after you get to 56+ your going to seriously hate your class.
unless you go ES, then you mite enjoy the the grind. but you wont find many people to party with you.
I've not heard of any RP clans on Kain, I'm sure there is 1 or 2. An all elf clan would be considered an RP clan. kind of like what DM has done with his all orc clan/ally.
But I'm sure I could get you into mine, or my allys clan. (underwold/Lycan) it's up to you. we could use more people for our academies.
I wasnt looking for a Roleplaying guild really, just one with all elves but I was really doubting there would be one. I have played many mmorpgs and been in tons of guilds and was looking for something different this time around other than another same ole same ole guild with nothing unique about it.
As for for being a SpS I really dont understand why I'm gonna hate it. I have always played casters on other games so I wanted to try it on L2. I hear that everyone plays Dark Elves so I just wanted to try something different from what the masses are doing. I have heard that SpS are tough to play but nobody ever goes into detail why they are. Be more specific because I would like to know more.
Heya, and welcome to Kain. I am a high level SpS and I will elaborate a little.
The class is fun! Sometimes you will hate it. Right now I am tired of playing mine because mainly that is all I have played for 2 years, so subbing is going to be really fun for me. :p
The reason SpellSingers are tough is that they burn threw their mana points extremely quickly, and don't have good mana management skills like the spell howler and necro. On top of that you do the least amount of damage per nuke, compared to the other nukers. Lets just say, you will be sitting down and regenerating your mana a lot. Playing a spellsinger takes TONS of patience. But it can get better.
Shillen Elders are almost a must for Spellsingers, especially at higher levels. They can recharge your mana and give you empower buffs that make you hit harder per nuke. Either find a friend, or tell a friend to play L2 and that Shillen Elders are the best class and he should play that, or buy a second account and duo box the characters so you will always have recharges and buffs.
The upside is spellsingers get a pretty nice variety of skills. Not all are practical, but still fun to play with. Also above all, you are the king of casting speed. You may hit for less than lets say a Spellhowler, but you probably can cast 2 nukes in the time he just casts one with the right kind of gear and buffs.
My advice, find a Shillen Oracle /Shillen Elder. For C grade use Demon Robes, when you get there. Always try to hunt in areas that drop the instant potions such as the ones that restore MP, especially if you can't get a Shillen Elder with you. Get a +4 INT -4 MEN tattoo first after you actually become a Spellsinger. And do what you already are trying to do, find a clan that will party with you.
Playing a spellsinger can be painful, but in the end it is a rewarding experience. Good luck to you, and if you ever have questions in game you can try to PM me or write me an in game email. The name is Maitreya.
And to answer your first question, no there isn't an all elf guild. But there are plenty of bigger clans that would probably be happy to let you into their academy, just make sure the academy is generally pretty active.
The only clan I have ever known to go all anything was GhostBear but the all orc thing .. was ages ago, at least I think they did that for a while. They're still around but it's not just orcs.

wasn;t legion of doom also all orc at one point? The was another one eliie the guild that was in UD with like 8 members then they all moved servers, I forget the name but that was an all darkelf guild

why would they hate that class? it's not as hard as you think and it is easy to find a group as an Sps or Human wiz. It wasn't hard for me to get my sps up to 70 everyone loved partying with me
