Surrender/resist?

So..., when you cast a surrender spell that target also get a resist spell of the opposite ellement, ie you cast surrender to water the target also gets resist fire.
But... when you cast a resist spell the target dosn´t get a surrender spell from the opposite ellement...
why?
and are there any plans in putting that ingame?

Elemental Protection.

Increase resistance to fire, water, wind and earth. Should it lower the resistance to fire, water, wind and earth then aswell?

Because it would end up as berserk/holy weapon buffs did. People would use it like debuffs on white players, raidbosses etc.

poison is not an element but the surrender to poison of DE has no other resist element cast on the mob/player as far as i am aware ;).
