For example: I can solo Pagans Temple at level 67, with or without my golem (providing I can get someone to open the door for me.) I was duo'd with another WS (lvl 70) in MoS with only oop buffers and an EE, and we were able to pull four groups of angels at a time with no problems. I can pull trains in IT for hours in a party at my level, and I did so and spoiled a bunch of IC keys to boot.
In addition, two WS and one BH successfully killed the 70+ Rift RB with only a pp, ee, se, and sws as backup. The ee was boxed, the SWS was under level 60, and everyone was level 70 or under except the se.
Perhaps there is some type of logic to NC's nerfing of dwarves in every chronicle. Or maybe I'm just that uber.
my ws spoils lvl 85 mobs
i can solo 2 disciples rooms (fully buffed of course :P) my golem can solo one room
i solo lvl 85 group mobs with nothing but se buffs and zero downtime
only 1 class in game can kill me
warsmith sucks as a class
Nice. I couldnt get my BH to spoil a level 52 mob yesterday. I have level 5 spoil and tried for about 2 hours. Not one mob turned blue. You are overpowered!

well spoiling a mob and getting it to turn blue are 2 completely different things
i can show you screenshots of me spoiling high A grade mats and recs but that doesnt really show the hours it took to land spoil
How are they different things? Im a novice dwarf player but I was always under the impression that a blue mob means it is spoiled.I think I should have a % chance of crafting A grade gear then. :p
The message 'The spoil condition has been activated.' displays the fact that the mob is spoiled, and this is a prerequisite for it turning blue - it's not the same though.
Oh geez you 2 I think it was pretty clear what I meant. After all this time on the boards I thought I would start to understand the "Troll" logic. But it just isnt sinking in I guess.
The whole thing was a joke guys. True, but a joke. I do realize, after more than two years playing a Warsmith in L2, that dwarves are pretty gimp. However, I have seen groups in MoS with 5-6 76+ toons get pwnd by angels, whereas any time there is a dwarf present, angels go down fast in aoe.
I just thought it was funny that my whole alliance told me not to go into pagans because I would die too fast. They told me not to go into FoG because I would die too fast. I can solo in both places with only clan hall buffs and my golem. Not many other classes can say the same thing. And while I do use a lot of potions and shots to kill mobs, I can actually solo in those places, and at lower levels than most other classes can.
And to AKup: I use Tallum Heavy, Met Shower/Focus, Halberd/Haste and ++++DEX. If there are nuker mobs, I use my Inferno Staff w/ Silence. If there are melee mobs, I use my Inferno Staff with Paralyze. Both have poor landing rates on the SA, but it does help when it lands.
man i never understand why they have 2 class's in the dwarf chain i think a WS must be also a BH even if both are molt they still are totaly underpowered by all other class's
If you ask me, the problem with dorfs is actually the lack of skills for pvp. They actually suck on it...
But i trully think that kill a party of dorfs around lvl 70 isn't that easy :P
not sure how you pull off soloing in mos pagans or FOG tbh
i can hunt the front room of pagans but its not exactly good xp or adena
i killed one mob at FOG when i was about 71, but it ended that battle hitting me for nearly 3k damage (later i found out those mobs can also split into 8 mobs)
i went to mos once fully buffed and my golem was dead in seconds about 10 seconds after that i bsoed
guess i most play with my dwarf wrong i got already probleems with x1 critters if i use a BH and i am unbuffed
someone saying WS are overpowered it's surely is a joke
yeah they have GITANTIC health pool but their basic resistance to magic is realy a kicker in the face

I dunno how he does Pagans or FoG, but I've seen him "solo" MoS. Run around and gather angels. With a ww2 potion, he's quite a bit faster than angels. Now, hit the bombs with bare hands, and run away. If you're fast enough, they won't hit you - and they give xp when they kablooey.

I can't solo MoS unless I'm on my strider just killing bombs for 10k exp per. I can, however, duo there with another WS about my level fairly easily with oop buffers. We pull four angel groups in the library at a time, and can do so non-stop. It is a bit easier with a full party, but it can be done fairly well.
In pagans, with my golem and CH buffs, I can open anteroom doors and take on three zombie guys at once fairly well, although I do take a lot of damage and use a lot of pots. The single mobs in the anteroom just take a while to kill, but are pretty easy to kill.
FoG is another story. I killed one mob, and it didn't split on me. It did kill my golem tho, and that hurt. My stuns were landing on it fairly regularly. I didn't chance any more of those stakatos, as I heard they split into like 6 mobs. I did, however, run about 8-10 rooms in with a huge train of stakatos before I had to BSOE.
It was fun all-in-all. I am working on getting into the Hall of Flames. I will also let you know how my foray into the chapel in pagans goes tonite.
And nameless, if you ever wanna see what I'm talking about, just log into Hinde and pm Red8. I will be happy to show you what I know, if you let me in on some of your secrets. We warsmiths gotta stick together.
i soloed in mos once, selfbuffed. first pull i only got one mob, had like 200 hp left when it died. second pull i accidently got like 5 mobs. green goo all over the walls.
Could you make a fraps or replay of your dwarfy ways? I'd love to see that. :)
I'll see what I can do for ya. If I can get the WS duo group going in MoS again, it will be nice. Only bad thing about those bombs tho is that I got critted by one for 15k damage. it had our whole group at the time in tears we were laughing so hard.
post might be a joke but i dont know many other classes that can solo high ketra groups with nothing but se buffs
Not really. At 76 I can take on two footman (with 66 SE), but a warrior + shaman usually set me running. Using the SE's root would probably help, but I don't want the SE to draw agro.
1. yes we have - as simple as 1 handed sword mastery or bow mastery. nothing special there.
2. not a self buff.
3. ??
4. profit issues has been beat to death in the forums as well.
again - not overpowered
Bit slow today my friend? Its a formula, a sarcastic one at that, But in answer you anyhow ^^
1. Ahh, but unlike say simple blunt and bow masteries, polearm masteries allow you to pole more then 4 mobs. Which is rather important when training.
2. Yes it isn't. But if you haven't figured out by lvl40, every class sucks without a buffer. Deal with it.
3..... ?
4. I wasn't even talking about the money issue lol. But if you must really ask. Ask a warlord how he likes sucking in PvP and not being able to make money.(To the extent of a dwarf anyway.)
I just said warsmiths were more or less like the other classes. Not really overpowered, just boring.
not many ppl realize the difference between a dwarf and a true pole user
Take a warlord and a dwarf with poles, make them pull a big train. Make them both have a good lag spike, or a freeze.
The dwarf will survive longer.
Both my WL and WS use a spear, and my WS can really do good xp in good conditions, it's just less fun to play because dwarves have less combat skills.

What you just wrote make no sence. Ofcorse the one who pull, aka the WL will die first.....
Now if you talk soloing, sure do you know that WL and dwarves got ALMOST same HP?.
Lets take lv 75 as an example:
BH base HP: 3374.60
WS base HP: 3223.90
WL base HP: 3204.90
Destroyer base HP: 3374.60
The only difference who play a roll here is CON, Destroyer will have more, so they will always have more HP; between a dwarf and WL the CON difference is 1, and a tiny base HP difference but it won't result in more then 200-300 HP difference end game.
But if you take a roll of survivability, WL vs BH/WS in AoE, WL have higer chance to survive, even in AoE why? because they got so many more skills who help them tremedious in AoE.
I said "with a lag spike or freeze".
WL or destro have more powers, they have more tools to survive and kill. But dwarves are still strong in their nature.
Oh and thank you for the link.
I really didn't know that Bh and WS didnt have the exact same stats.
yeah the extra 2% hp is to balance us in pvp :P
with a lag spike depending on how much you pull a dwarf might live for 1 second longer if lucky
wl's have battle roar which is a pretty handy skill to have just before you start swinging
wl's also have aggresion which is a nifty skill for pulling mobs without haveing to take too much extra damage
dont think you want to get me started on destro vs dwarves for poleing but here goes
my lvl 44 destro sub has more pdef than my main when useing guts and almost as much pattack as me wearing a hero weapon when useing frenzy
they also have rage which is great for when VR is working double time and you dont need the extra pdef
destro also has battle roar which begs the question, who is the real pole class?
does thunderstorm and aggression really make up for you guys only being allowed to use a pole?
ok this post has been off topiced enough so what exactly makes a wl a better poler?
i can see how they are better at pulling but id still say destro is better at the actual poleing part
my destro sub is only 46ish (delvled it to 43 8 times so far :/) and while its painfully obvious how much better it is compared to my dwarf i cant see wls being much better
ok this post has been off topiced enough so what exactly makes a wl a better poler?
Nothing in catas. But once you are in an open space, all the numerous small benefits of being a Warlord (Provoke, Detect [whatever] Weakness, Thunderstorm, Howl, Wild Swoop, Final Frenzy...) start to sum up.

nice
can you please xplain wild swoop and final frenzy for me
and honestly when does a wl ever leave a cata? O.0
I think you need to think about the run speed issue of destros compared to WS and WL. Don't they run slower? And these little differences don't really add up to a hole lot in a pole group from what i've seen. My WS needs maybe 2 swings more per group than a destro and no more than a WL. Due note this is not at max lvl but at lvl70ish.
Then the Destro isnt using Rage/Frenzy/Zealot or is a HP build.
Rage is fairly easy to cycle so that it is ready for the next pull, and if you cycle guts and Frenzy they too can be used for almost every pull if there's like 1min between the next 3room pull coming in.

Wild Swoop increases the arc of a pole attack. Useless in cata corners.
Final Frenzy is a passive that increases PAtk when HP is below 30%. Not as good as Rage of Frenzy, but does not need to be cycled either.
Why leave catas? For numerous reasons, from clan wars to hunting for some specific drops (say, Benediction spellbook).
first off, wild swwop increases the number of mobs able to be hit, unless you are AoEing FoG or some insects somewhere its fairly useless.
its howl and Warcry that puts the WL ahead of the destro in pulling large trains. Rage/frenzy are cool and uber but if its a large train u are dead before u finish activating them.
Now this all being said, I think WS's are uber cause I did 52-61 in 2 days with my warsmith^^, ;) ;)
warlords are good for pulls because of provoke. mild version of hate. thunder storm has saved me many times (aoe stun), howl is great to lower the patk of the mobs, battle cry increases your patk, revival restore FULL hp (but basically useless cause it can only be used with 5% hp left) and basically run speed is a big factor too.
and we are not in the catas all the time...it gets pretty boring fast. try and do some AOE in AL in the money room, that's fun as hell, just because they are all blood red to mee and para me 1/3 trains :)
**** thats the first time i noticed the damage log in the windows or shield defense and crit at least
sad thing is that dorf has the best possible pvp build and all buffalo has is crappy S grade :(
really not a fair fight
lol not a fair fight? are you the one that says dwarves are underpowered? and this shows a dwarf kicking the crap out of a SwS hero? with just haste and ww?
that's an awesome picture, just shows if the class is played right (right tats and setup and everything) they can be very dangerous

dont think you understand the olympiad
WS's own vs any melee class without skills or buffs
the hero thing is irrelevant since you cant use hero skills dureing the competition
that picture doesnt really say much since i see the SWS with a sword when anybody would know he should have a bow since he has much higher run speed
not really sure how good a ws could be in there since my equiptment isnt up to par but id say a ws would:
beat all healers except prophets
get owned but every orc class
have a 30% chance against glads
a 0% chance against all tanks
a 70% chance against WLs
a 0% chance against all summoners
a 60% chance against all nukers
a 0% chance against necros
a 0% chance against all archers
not sure on BDs but i hear they are pretty good
all that assumes that everyone involved is lvl 78 with resist stun jewles (root and sleep for WS) , the usual crit and accuracy stuff with reasonably enchanted skills
ill accept any debate on the matter since i havent really done many fights vs many classes and im pretty much a full pve build
Dwarfs have to use their skills in PvP, just like anyone else. stun is fun. and weight limit is a skill. tons of hp is a dwarf skill. if you carry 1000 greater CP pots, and put it on the hot bar. unless you get arrested or some crap like that, just keep hitting that button. 1000 pots times 200cp is a lot of cp.
if you got lemons, craft lemonade and set up shop.
so i assume thats a tk then?
good to know i might beat one of those, depending on if they know how to play their class or not
now i just have to wait to fight one
like i said im not fully sure of the capabilities of WSs in the olympiad
ive only been hero a measly 3 times so far and 90% of my fights are between prophets, summoner and gladiators
last month i fought 5 prophets 3 summoners and 1 SK
im sure you know more about high lvl dwarf pvp then me so any tips would be greatly appreciated
