Tainted ogre Location

Hi all, i'd like to craft plated leather boots, but after having checked on various different websites, there's no way to find the location of the mob called tainted ogre (lvl45).
Plzz help ty

Never seen that mob. You can try to hunt Krators or Snipes in Cruma Tower.

that mob used to be in Devil's isle, not anymore since i was yesterday there and ddidn't see him all the way in seems that he got the cut in the C5 update. :p

Krators and Snipes are your best bet, less than a 1 in 200 chance of getting the mats.

how about the swamp tribes?

They're group mobs, and therefore rather difficult to tackle.

Swamp Tribes dont drop plated leather mats.

Swamp Warriors drop PL Boots Mats

Snipes and Krator in Cruma drop too, but Snipes suck because of thei minions.

I'd prefer the Swamp mobs... BUT go there in group with buffer,healer and maybe a tank. Swamp Warrios throw daggers -> nice dmg ^^

My Necro and her skelleton deal with the tribes easy, just gimme PP buffs! ^^ Nah, they're tough, what's the point of adding RANGED mobs in a group of mobs.. annoying!

I believe the tribe mobs are 2x HP also. By the time you get strong enough nukes to handle them they'll be dark blue :/ I know I tried.

if your doing those mobs for the PL boot linings i think that it would be better to do the raid bosses that drop them.

Water Spirit Lian and Icarus Sample 1 both Level 40. get a hold of trust worthy group of person's or a clan that would help you and you may get the boot lining faster than grinding for them.
