Discontinuning timecards????

So, I was in my captial city yesterday (closest place i can get a timecard, 1 1/2hours away) and was at EB Games getting a time card, and out of the 5 stores that are in there...there was only 2 lineage 2 time cards. So I asked when they'll be getting more, and the clerks said at 2 stores that the time cards will be discontinued. Normally I wouldn't care, but seeing how I pay with time cards...and these are the only stores to get them...I don't know what's going to happen next. Why are the time cards being discontinued?

You can always use a GTC for another NCSoft game, they will also work.

I don't have credit cards either. They are nothing but trouble. I use this guy Kolinb (http://stores.ebay.com/kolinb_PREPAID-ONLINE-GAMECARDS_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm) to get my cards. I usually get it the same day and i use PayPal to pay. This guy is very fast and curtious and if you have questions, he will answer them. No stores in my area sell game cards. Hope i'm allowed to put this link here. This guy is very good. :cool:

I like cash and time cards. You can't "use them wrong".

Ignoring all the cash I spent on pogs as a kid. If that wasn't "using it wrong" I certainly never wanna find out what is.

i stop buying the Lineage 2 time cards a long time ago i usually buy City of Heroes or City Of Villains any time card mark with a NCsoft logo works with the game. :p

but if they discontinue all game card I'm sure i will not play anymore since i don't want to use a CC info for a game.

Well, honestly, I rather give my CC info to company with several million subscribers, than to some tiny e-shop somewhere in the corner of server room.

Credit Card are only for emergencies only, not for paying a game and not for buying shoes (ladies) :p. so if I'm pretty sure that there is no way I'm spending my Credit in something that is not giving me nothing back in return and is not worth the risk for getting an email from NCsoft telling my that my account is cancel due for some payment error after spending so much time and effort in it.

I'm old school so i only believe in what is done in front of me with my money not a mile a way were i cant defend myself.

Exactly. I'm up to like 250 free cashback dollars on my card, and I pay zero interest and build a credit rating. Some people just look at CC's all wrong.

Debit cards however, scare me since that comes right out of my bank account.

You can use any PlayNC Game Time Card (City of Heroes, Auto Assault, etc) on your Lineage II account. I don't have any additional information on the status of Lineage II time cards, but hopefully I will get some details on that soon.

Ouch i only spend $15 per card how can you spend that much for one?...

you should goto different stores and see each prices before buying or just call no way i would pay for that amount.

I am assuming he buys multiple cards at once, since the store is so far away, that way he doesnt have to make the trip that often.

at least I hope thats the case, because if not he is seriously getting ripped off.

The time card is normally for 60 days worth of time. Here in Ontario Canada, a time card cost's $39.99 + tax. The problem is finding one. :(

Not sure, but monthly fee is 14.99 USD, right? 2 month = 30USD, payin 40USD+tax seems kind of overpriced.

For europe, its 12.99EUR I think, timecard prices vary from store to store (online), normaly they are around 27EUR.
