**SERVERS**

Hey everyone thanks for reading my following post.

So, i need some infomation from all the different servers if possible please write your opinion and facts, thanks! :)

Please try and answer these questions for each server, this would really help me aswell as other new players a lot.

-Serever population (low, high?)

-politics (1 domination, wars?)

-low lvl people (still any low lvls around, or all 60+?)

-item prices

-bot population

-friendly to new player

-2 big sides and a TON of random wars

-well i can see here and there low lvls-mostly alts or aca point gatherings than anything else

-the inflation isnt so bad

-BIG

-newbie friendly?mmm dont think so

Serever population: Medium, there is almost always someone within shouting distance, but it isnt crowded(well, not everywhere)

-politics: 2 main sides, 3 or 4 big alliances in the main war, ALOT of "neutral" alliances that fight from time to time.

-low lvl people: Alot of academy people for rep, but I do know there are a bunch more new people around that are actually new.

-item prices: Stable, but probably considered high(no basis for comparison to other servers.)

-bot population: Depends on where you go, catacombs are filled, DE village has its dwarf infestation, but not near as bad as it once was.

-friendly to new player: Generally yes, alsways clans recruiting and people willing to help out.

Population medium
Politics Two sided war, avoidable if you are careful
Item Prices I don't play on other servers so I cannot compare, tho crafting or clanning are always better than buying
BotPop Not too bad (TY NCSoft)
Friendly to new players? Oh yes...if you hook up with the right people. That's a matter of luck of course...but check the boards for Erica to see some nice people listed. If you want PvP go to a big alliance..and the other one will PK you a lot!

These are my opinions, others will differ, of course.

I have to disagree with Rum, our server is more like the following:

Population medium
Politics Two sided war, avoidable if you are careful
Item Prices I don't play on other servers so I cannot compare, tho crafting or clanning are always better than buying
BotPop Not too bad (TY NCSoft)
Friendly to new players? Oh yes...if you hook up with the right people. That's a matter of luck of course...but check the boards for Erica to see some nice people listed. If you want PvP go to a big alliance..and the other one will PK you a lot!

And for Teon, well, Lisail said it pretty well.

The population is Very High, political situation is 2 sided altho it is changing since X side coalition lost Abyss and now there's some drama with the IA/AMA/TT/V side about sieges and who should have gotten which castle... Then there's a ton of neutral/semi neutral allys that have their own wars and then some clans/allys that try to avoid even the random wars.

Currently, there's lots of Academy alts and also a fair number of new people. Atleast thats the conclusion I've made while recruiting new academy members and generally keeping an eye out for them while making money ^^

Item prices aint that bad, they've been higher and they've been lower. What matters more is if the market is stagnant or not and at the moment it is healthy in a sense.

Bot population is a lot lower than what it used to be, but you can still find them if you go looking for them. In general, you can actually find mobs to exp on these days ^^

The server is as friendly as the people you befriend. Lots of it depend on you, but generally I'd say that all the servers are pretty much the same considering friendliness. All have drama :)

Teon and Franz are European servers, but both have also American players and vice versa with the other servers that are American but have also Europeans on them.

Well the "red" guys arent very friendly but i guess new players wont encounter them till they are 60+.

The silent ppl are all over the catas/necros.Every **** room.

Hindemth
-Serever population: Medium
-politics: many dominant alliances. Lots of wars if your in the big alliances. However, you can easily avoid pvp if you wish. The big alliances dont tend to push smaller clans/allies around unless you provoke them.
-low lvl people: Ive seen quite a few. Quite a few on em in my ally. ALot of people like to try out hind apparently
-item prices: lower than most other servers.
-bot population: Im assuming its the same on all servers. Its not something you can avoid.
-friendly to new player: Very. Good people, many helpfull players (if you dont act like an ***) good community

Gustin:

Population low to medium, rather low.

Basically one dominating clan, and also small clans take their portion of random pvp with anybody.

Low levels are around, with recent closure of private servers even more than ever. But they level fast.

Prices are bearable, not highest from all servers but higher than populated ones like bartz.

Less, lots banned, but newbie towns are crawling with naked dwarves again. Farmer clan is trying to hold few areas on lockdown (some catas, beast farm).

If you do not meet 13 years old nerds (you know who you are :p ) that try to "teach new players how to die" yes, friendly.

Devianne:

Population Medium

2 dominating clans/alliances..Alot of wars but also clans that dont pvp

A few lowlvls around

Prices are high on some items but overall its ok

Bots well sure you can find them,but its no where near what it used to be.Im sure they will come back unless NCsoft keeps them down tho.

Im sure devianne would be ok to start on,but i would suggest reading the server forums to avoid getting caught up in politics if thats what you choose.
