I understand Aden holds greatest territory of the map and Elmore is up North and smaller.
Garcia?? is this region present on our world map ATM or is this for future chronicles?
were would it be placed?
time will tell there was some sketches of the new continents as chronicles progress but as how the game is heading I'm not sure if it will pass for more than 2 expansions.
I thought this was rumour or misunderstanding of the community.
I understood NC meant chaotic throne. The community interpreted this as L3.
Is that true?
The game world is already pretty much 'too large', so it's all up in the air.
The world size is awfully intimidating but whos to say if it were any smaller players would still be complaining.
I also asked due to the thought that Garcia was integral to the L2 story. Is it?
Anyhow it kind of is out of general interest. In game its pretty much just ****'n'slash, and maybe fishing :D
Garcia is another continent to the west of Gludin and Talking Island. It is likely that Elmore (and perhaps Aden) will expand to the east in future expansions.
There are planned a total of 12 'Chronical' expansions (however named) and we are approaching the half way point, they are released roughly twice a year, so there should be expansions for another three + years and then the full game should run for (I hope) another 6 years or so, no guarantee, of course.
There will always be people who like to appear wise by making predictions about the looming death of L2. Pay no attention to them. I remember years ago, in C1 and C2, how these same types of folks were saying the geme was doomed and we would never see C3. Or C4. Or C5. Or C6.
The fact is that the game is healthy, they have added new servers...a sure sign of health. Here in NA and EU we are lucky that we kind of ride the coattails of the huge player base in East Asia which funds the excellent development staff. I also think that we are lucky that the development staff is not in NA because, if it was, we would likely get a cookie-cutter game like WoW and other namby pambie games made for the people who want things easy. Me? I like it hard.

Lineage 3 was mentioned as being in the works well before the "Chaotic Throne" title was revealed to the public. L3 is apparently going to run on the new Unreal engine, and take this with a grain of salt, but Hellrose (reliable fan translator) said that it's being pushed back because the project head was fired. I don't know if there's any truth to it, but she's not in the habit of making things up.
We never had any concrete information on the game, so it's not particularly disappointing. Worth noting, though.

Lets not forget, there are still a pile of people playing L1. I am sure L2 will be around for quite a while, even if the famed L3 comes out. L1 will probably still be around then.
