What exactly does Zealot do?

All I ever hear when Zealot comes up is runspeed. Also, the various skills of a Destroyer (Rage, Frenzy, Guts, Zealot), can they be used simultaneously, or can they only be used one at a time? Also, I'm almost to level 60, and I see a skill called Crush of Doom in the Library. It looks impressive, but I never hear anybody mention it when talking about Destroyers. What's the catch, if there is one?
zealot boots runspeed, atk speed and lower's amount you can be healed for.

activates at 30% hp.
Crush of doom is Like another Fatal Stirke(power strike etc.) It is stronger and uses hp instead of mp.
Rage and Zealot can be used with either Frenzy or Guts, so yea, you can have 3 of the 4 at one time going. Frenzy and Guts dont stack, but all the other buffs do.

Crush of Doom is a melee special that uses HP instead of MP to power it, it has a pretty nice power and in Interlude it will be even better with the changes to skills and ss. However, critical hits atm outdamage it, especially when in Frenzy so it isnt that useful.

When using a twohanded sword/Pole, Zealot gives boost to Attack speed, Run speed, Accuracy and Critical rate. And -50% to heal efficiency. From what I've heard, when using Blunt/Fists it gives % Crit damage instead of Crit rate. Cant say if the latter is true or not.
lvl 1 zealot

+10 run speed +10% atk speed +10% crit rate +2 acc -50% heal (I think)

lvl 2

+20% atk spd +20 run speed +20% crit rate +4 acc -50% heal

lvl 3

+30% atk spd +30 run speed +30% crit rate +6 acc -50% heal

thanks charm :)
And +6 accuracy, atleast at lvl 3 Zealot.
Crush of Doom also does Overhit! I love this skill and use it for the last hit whenever I am using a 2H sword. On 4X mobs you get more than +10% XP per kill if you time it well.

Zealot really becomes a noticeable buff at 66 with Zealot 2. The 20% attack speed is just incredible when poling and the +20 run speed helps when collecting mobs. You can collect 16 mobs from 2 catacomb rooms and kill them all before the buff ends.

Zealot 1 (Destroyer) Atk. Spd. +10%, Critical +33, Accuracy +6, Speed +10, HP restored from heal -50%
Zealot 2 (Destroyer) Atk. Spd. +20%, Critical +67, Accuracy +6, Speed +20, HP restored from heal -50%
Zealot 3 (Destroyer) Atk. Spd. +30%, Critical +100, Accuracy +6, Speed +30, HP restored from heal -50%
Zealot 1 (Tyrant) Atk. Spd. +10%, Critical Damage +33%, Accuracy +6, Speed +10, HP restored from heal -50%
Zealot 2 (Tyrant) Atk. Spd. +20%, Critical Damage +67%, Accuracy +6, Speed +20, HP restored from heal -50%
Zealot 3 (Tyrant) Atk. Spd. +30%, Critical Damage +100%, Accuracy +6, Speed +30, HP restored from heal -50%
zealot and guts replace each other, such that you can only have one active at one time. other skills u can stack as u please. crush of doom takes hp and deals loads of damages, but its very level based. imo it ranks up there with frenzy on the list of awesome skills.
he means frenzy, not zealot.
so for the -50% heal does that pply to dots as well? im guessing not but does the heal chant still work?

you cant have frenzy and guts active at the same time... anymore. imagine how bad it would be if you could

you can have guts and rage active though and since rage is basically a kickass self zerk you still leave yourself with heaps of pattack and heaps of pdef
basically destro can self buff heroic valor when they are under 30% hp :P
yea thats what i meant. _Charmille_ said it better anyways.

HoT type heals and % heals aren't affected by debuffs like Disease, so without actually testing, I'd wager it to be the same with Zealot. I know for a fact that they don't affect Elixirs.
Now that would be interesting. If it works out that way, my boxed WC could do a heal with no loss (although it is very often busy working away at the same mobs - what a duo!)

Well the 'instant' part of the heal would be reduced, I believe. I'm not sure though if CoL was adjusted at the same time that HoP was, so I don't know if it has a instant portion to the heal...I'd have to check.
Dunno about the instant part of HoP is affected.. have ask a Tyrant..
col doesnt have an instant heal potion
its 100% dot afai can see
You're right about Chant of Life, but Heart of Paagrio has a small instant heal portion. Just to clarify ^^
havent had hop for ages so ill take your word for it
what exactly is a tiny heal? 50 hp 100?
surely not significant ^^
500ish HP. Alot better than CoL at least ^^
daaaaaamn
500 hp is more than my se manages
i wouldnt exactly call that a minor heal lol
Yeah it's not bad.. but considering an EE or a Bishop can do 1.5k heals 5 times faster, it's minor ^^

Then again.. an entire alliance getting that heal is thousands of HP restored :P
I'd assume that 500HP heal is from using BSPS and that the OL doing it is close to maxed out on HoP levels. (L7x or high 6x?)
VR appears to be unaffected by the zealot -50% healing effect.
That is good news about VR.
Why talk about anything less than fully skilled with bsps? :p I've seen 600hp+ heal too, but I guess that was with boss jewels and/or prayer (if that affects it).
Zealot isn't different between the two classes. It depends on the weapon. Try it =P

Really?

It says the buff adds +100 critical rate for destroyers and +100% critical damage for Tyrants. So if the Destroyer suddenly used fists he would get +100% crit damage instead of +100 critical? I'd like to see screenshots!
Fists are blunts. So any Blunt weapon works.
...fists are fists, not blunts, they have blunt characteristics though. Some mobs have their own fist weakness actually.

Question is, does blunt weakness also affect fists? O_O

I don't know what your point was though.. using a blunt on a Destroyer to imitate fists? Pretty sure Zealot are two different skills for destro and tyrant, so weapon shouldn't affect it.. though I won't believe it until I see some proof.
I've never seen a Titan critical anyone for more than 6-7k with a sword. However, our clan Titan dinged a 7X dagger for well over 11k without Fire. I'll test it with him in a few days.
OK posted it in the wrong thread first LOL, but anyhow

Okay, tested it.

The bonus aka Crit damage or Crit rate depence on the type of weapon.

Fist = Crit damage
Sword = Crit rate

I haven't tried any other weapon but I can do that later if wanted.

Zelot with a homunkulus sword.

And raw stat with homunkulus

It gave 33 Crit rate.
Interesting Oo;;
