Levelling Spells

I am sure this may be a stupid question, but I have just started as a Dark Elf. My character is level 8, but my only spell (wind) is still only level 1. How do I increase the level of spells?

There should be a trainer in the main building in DE Village(it is up the steps from the square, there should be an option to "Learn Skills" which wil show you skill you can learn. Some skills do requie spellbooks, however I think there is a vendor in the room now.

Yes there is, and the trainers are up the ramp across from the big hand. You don't need to learn windstrike with a book but you need it for icebolt and everything else.

Also, remember to start find the newbie guide, if you haven't done so already. At some point (level 7?), you can get newbie buffs that last 1 hr.

your first place to look is the status window then after that see how many Sp points you have as well buying the spellbooks your going to need the different skills always plan ahead.

I think the window pop up says you can get buffs at 7 but the newbie guide says not until 10 or something silly like that.

Don't you start getting windwalk at level 8?

I can't remember, I just remember levelling a DE and the window at 7 or 8 said you could get noob buffs, I ran back to town to get them and they said no not until 10 or whatever.
