Ant Queen

K, I heard that using 2 high level Mages with AoE attacks, and a raid group made up of 5 nukers, 3-4 tanks and 1 healer, you can defeat the Ant Queen.

Use the mages to attack the larvae and handle aggro then when its all dead, attack the Queen. Is this possible?

Because if it is, hehe, i'm going for it.

Oh and can someone give me the exact restart time of the Manor system? Down to the second?

That tactic wont work any longer as the queen has started using raid curses - so the high level mages will be paralyzed or silenced the same way as with ordinary raidbosses.

Isn't Queen Ant farmed like on every server?

back in the day the strategy was to bring 1 party of D graders and 3 parties of 70+ mages

farmed on sieghardt...spawed and killed within 10 minutes...
it's very annoying...

For me it's 3:06 AM Central European Time (GMT +1) exactly.
Currently too lazy to convert it to all 4 US timezones.

Gustin is farm alot if you see her alive is because your lucky.

even with the raid curse all you need is pull the nurses and the guards to the larva room and just let the lowbies finish her off in no time.

Raidboss farmers are fiction, aren't they?
They are ALL legal and paying players, aren't they?
So why stop them when they are just better than the rest?

thats a suicide mission I guess? cuz high lvls can pull anything in there, or even take aggro from lowbies.
and when the lowbie who pulled the minions die they will run back so...well Im not sure how its workds I have never killed AQ

nope cause the agro stay on me while i have the raid curse[petrified] and the Nurses start to heal the larva leaving the Queen alone all the mages have to do is kill her and the royal guard quick.

that is if you are a nuker and use a spell?
cuz it wont work if you are a melee or hit with a melee/bow wep. in that case you just get petrified and nothing else happens.

ofc. +10 Agrade weps where like 2b some time back, now they are 800m or so, on bartz.

if 10 AQR is for sale at the same time in giran, im sure the prices will drop a lot :/

or they simple hold the rest back to keep up the price high..
anyway doesn't matter... L2 is as it is... bot game no.1

AQ on Bartz is pretty much not worth going after unless you bring alot of high levels ready to go red on the farmers...I see too many clans that actually get AQ anymore.

It's so bad, AQ spawns, farmers all log in or port there and then it's done in like 5 minutes...if you try to interfere they basically just pk you.
