if the only thing u did was lvl with cubic, use the stun cubic. it wont cost so many crystals, but youll be payin for the shots. and how.

no it's not. The thing people forget is that you never have to share anything you get. Albiet it's not a nuker on cost but hey what is?. It's also not slow. I can solo for more XP than most groups. Not something like FoG or boss rooms in IT but better than any catacomb group you could get by far.

lvl 40-56 is a female dog to lvl with; i am meleeing it and in 3 days i havent gotten lvl 41 :/

havent died, havent gotten good loot (apart from manor) and ive spent almost 100k in crystals alone.

had i better summon buffs (haste, might3, mdef) i could do this without much trouble. as it is, i need my stun cubic out so that my summon doesnt get killed in 5 hits :/

Where are you hunting because i did at least a level per day only playing a few hours per day.

You're either VERY casual or you're grinding in a bad area :eek:

dunno if a warlock is a very big different, but i did grind from lvl40 to 59 in less then a weak (played maybe 4-6 hours / day)

sure its expensive, but its also fast. and you dont have to share drops, adena or sealstones. so you still ge ta lot of money. and hey, dont forget to manor at the same time.

Since the discussion here is about PS, I couldn't find any guide for this class in the relevant section. Do you have any link to any?

I'm not sure what there is to write a guide about - you use the Soulless if you can sustain MP with it, and the shadow to regenerate and/or grind relaxedly.

Your own gear setup is up to yourself - some prefer LA, some prefer robes (different styles of emergency management - I'm a robe type of girl myself).

Tattoos are either -MEN/+WIT/(+INT 40-52 if you want to push and can afford dropping the tattoo later) or -INT/+WIT/(+MEN) and any +/- in the physical stats that does not drop your DEX - could be -STR, could be +STR, could be +DEX could be +CON. ;)

Spud, frankly If you are having that much trouble 40-48 as a PS, you are not cut out to be one.

All summoners are godly from 40-48 as your nukes are still valid, you have a perma-pet, AND your equipment likely massively outranks the mobs you are fighting.

Your problem is between seat and keyboard.

i'm afraid he's right, up till 48 or so you are a necro with buffs and less ugly pets.

I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to nuke after 40 on Maline (nukes are yucky without boxer/kat - it's not the same if it's an SE recharging you!), but it's definitely true that summoners solo fast 40-48. I did 40-41 in a very frustrated 3 or 4 hours on Amoni - before petshots, while trying to find a level spot.

Took my summoner from 36 to 48 in a week, maybe 3-4 hours a day, its hella fast, and I have no buff bots to help me, just solo.

im not using shots, and i am meleeing on gator isle with shadow and spark. i dont have to heal my shadow, but im not making more than 50k a session which isnt covering my crystals.

dont tell me "use shots" cause thats out of the question. frankly, meleeing without shots does the same damage.

i dont have boxed support, and i am hunting solo (against the wishes of clanmates).

the gator quest, and the map quest are both taking longer than expected.

the most i have gotten are 60 gator fangs, and that amounts to piddly.

the fishing shot quest gives more quest items.

You might want to drop the fishing shot quest, you get less of the other quest items when getting sweet fluids.

Hunt lizard men near oren and when you get a couple leves the orcs.

Exactly, that might be the case why you think it goes so slow, the quest normally goes quite fast.
