I would like to have some information about how to kill zaken,the difficulties this raid has... If anyone can help by posting or giving a link,I would apprecieate it.
Well my clan was farming Zaken in c4 so maybe i can share some info:
1)Door to Zaken ship (interior) opens at 24:00 (midnight game time) and stays open for 2 minutes (real world time).When that happens because of bugs in game if you are in party there is a big chance to get d/ced.(FIX IT NCsoft)
2)Zaken is a vampire so during the night he has EXTREMELY fast HP regen (100 75+ ppl couldnt kill him.....) so you need to go inside AND wait for 6:00 when day ingame comes (which is 1 hour of waiting->FIX THIS NCsoft) to kill him.
3)Zakens ship has 3 lvls-it would be best for a group of your raid to mark the way between all the lvls because of 4)
4) Zaken WILL teleport ppl around him in a random rate in random locations (when that happens that guy is almost 100% dead-he is ported in the middle of aggro mobs rooms).This means atleast 3 tanks if one of them gets ported....
5)The mobs inside the ship are tough...AND many.So you need to get alot of ppl.
6)In c6 if a char that is beyond 9 lvls above the MOBS inside they will para him/her!Which actually makes him really hard to kill.
7)Zaken WILL port around when his HP drops and start regening his HP.At that time you need to find him (again-mark the way between floors!) and start hitting him again.
I hope this helps a little.For real info i would suggest that you go to blah-ppl there tend to play the game more than ppl here :p
Actually in C4 it was "okay".You need atleast 1-2 hours to get everyone to zakens ship (front door).And thats with organised allys that did zaken tons of times!
After that you need to wait for the door to open (and kill everybody that wants Zaken for himself (RB farmers)).Door opens and you get 40-50 ppl (you could do zaken with so little then) in a tiny little corridor inside the ship because ZAKEN IS AGGRO!You NEED to stay out of Zakens aggro range because during night Zaken is overpowered :p
Oh and we made Zaken with ppl 75+....dunno how lvl 60 will fare against him.You stay in that corridor for 1 hour and HOPE Zaken doesnt aggro you.If he does-1 victim distracts him and lures him inside and everybody relogs (dunno now but then you could relog and dont get ported to giran).
Oh and during the day Zakens HP regen is not only slow but slower than other RBs.So mana aint an issue here.

I think that is fair enough; he is a vampire after all.
The strider glitch will get you banned!Weve heard about RB farmers using it....
Its ok if farmer clans cant make epic bosses.But its NOT ok to not let normal clans to farm it since more times Zaken is killed the lower Zaken's earring will be :p
And yeah i meant C5-the change about Zaken minions was made in the launch of C5.
You need to wait 1 hour doing nothing and you cant log off to wait it out or play an alt.1 hour of doing NOTHING!This isnt a game-its a plain boredom.FIX IT!
