pole arm accuracy?

i dont have much experiance with this cause i never had a chance to use it

basically lvl 1 pole accuracy on a lvl 40 destro uses almost no mp (zero mp in about 30 mins)
lvl 2 on a fairly high lvl dwarf chews through mp like crazy (zero mp in a few minuets)
i havent tried lvl 3 cause frankly i dont think spending 2.5 mil sp for +1 accuracy is a wise choice
but exactly how bad does it get?
Full to zero mp right after you click the skill to "ON."
But to be honest I don't know.
I just got that skill and havent used it yet on my BH. Personally I don't have that much trouble with accuracy to begin with so I'm not sure how much it will improve my performace. I'd assume it may come in handy if you're dealing with high evasion type mobs or hunting higher level mobs. Can't comment on higher levels of the toggle, but that's my 2 pennies anyways.
For the last boosted PTS I took a Warsmith w/Majestic & Tallum Glaive.

I maxed out Polearm Accuracy (L75 so L3 Pole Acc)

The MP use is the same as for Vicious Stance. (14MP per tick at L3) The Acc bonus per level of PA is +2/+1/+1 (+4 at max level)

Just like VS/SG/SC, PA drains MP far too fast to be of any long term use.

Killing some mobs, it just wasn't worth the MP drain to use it at all. Whirlwind was a better use of MP most of the time. EXCEPT! When you were fighting 'Light Armor' mobs. Fighting normal white mobs without PA, and the misses weren't all that bad. When fighting just one *Light Blue* evasion mob though, I had to turn it on or else just one mob would **** my HP by taking an eternity to kill. (Far too many misses) With PA on I could kill the mob with much less HP lost.

If you have the Accuracy buff or aren't fighting 'Light Armor - Evasion' mobs, there is no point to using it. Guidance as a SA on the polearm is better for that really. And if your not doing pole solo, you should have access to the Accuracy buff at the least. For emergency use in pvp (No blunt available) or when buffs are thin against evade mobs it's useful.

If your in a pole group, and your not the 'puller' it could be worth taking it on/off when the mobs get to you, But other than that, It's not constantly useful.
no i definately see it working when i toggle it but the level 2 skill burns mp so fast i basically never do
honestly if i had a choice i think i'd just stick to lvl 1 so i can have it on all the time

thx all i think this question is answered
Destro lvl 40 doesn't have "polearm accuracy" toggle. They have the basic warrior Acc toggle which uses no mp and useable on any weap.

At 58 or so they get the same toggle as your dwarf

The norma acc toggle and the polearm toggle stack, which is nice for high evasion mobs.

O ****
that might explain a few things
yeah looks like the pole toggle just costs an *** load more mp :/
IIRC, the normal Accuracy toggle got nerfed a bit and only gives +3 ACC.

So combined thats +7 ACC (+3 Guidance, +4 Pole Acc), which if the stats on L2Calc are correct, means a L75 Destroyer only has 1 more Accuracy than the L75 Bounty Hunter/Warsmith does (108 versus 107) when both have all their toggles on. (Yes Virginia, that low DEX for Orcs really does suck.)
"Yes Virginia, that low DEX for Orcs really does suck." And how, I will second that!
I'd rather use MP on spoiling. but, i keep it on bar just in case the fight doesnt look good, and i have full mp anyways. but i think buffs are so much better, that i hardly notice that i have it on.

when i do put it on, i always foret, till i run out of mp..and go HEY!!!!! wha happened

well to be fair the low dex is balanced by haveing other stats higher
and its always an option to go +dex - str on a destro since they deal large damage regardless of pattack

I'd agree...except the base stats are hardly 'balanced'. If Pdef wasn't such a gimped value in the game I might agree more, but as it stands patk (str) and atk.speed/speed/crits (dex) are worth more than hp. (con) The imbalance was so bad, that they went and 'rebalanced' CON a bunch of chronicles ago. (I forget which one exactly.) At the moment, about the only thing con is worth is for stun resistence and in pvp to survive maybe 1 more hit if your lucky. (Archer and Mage damage tends to be quite high....)

And -str +dex? Sound like a pvp based build to me. For pve I'd rather -con + str. (Heals >> HP for that.)

no arguments here
+str - con is the most effective of all the melee builds imo
just saying destro damage is so dependant on skills that they could easily -str and still out damage the average melee class
WL got a better skill for extra accruacy anyway, focus attack, which also boosts crit damage. the low lvl toggle is useful, but i see no use in a toggle that consumes that much mp for such a low effect, last i checked lvl 2 focus attack is +3 and there is 5 or so lvls of that.
Destro damage based on skills? Only if your running Frenzy/Zealot/Rage constantly. And that takes a bit of buff shuffling and some extra gear. (The instant damage skills currently don't do anything a regular SS hit can't do.)

But yeah, in that situation str doesn't mean much and the damage is still wicked sick.

well just useing frenzy and then next time guts and rage (if you need guts) is about all the damage output you need
you cant keep that up all the time without end game buffs and gear obviously but that is a huge boost to dps compared to the average melee class
not saying dex-str is a good idea because its prolly more on the ******ed side just saying its an option
