the mobs nuke, gang up on you, and they port more mobs to you. very social, you need a lot of HP to live there.
you can CDL in FP if you want that place is pretty safe as long as you can kill the mobs before they get to you, cause 2 of them stun. (gargoyles, tigers)
The person didn't say to use CDL (curse death link) but rather B2M (body to mind to regen MP) and CLD (corpse life drain to restore HP). What was missing is to say to use Death Spike. All of the above should be obvious to any level 62 Necro. The main piece of info was to hunt in VoS which is a great place for a Necro. The only change I'd make is that since spawn rate is so good at VoS I'd use Vamp Claw instead of CLD to restore HP.
Only thing is, without Empower3 it is unlikely you will be able to 2-shot with Death Spike. It will probably take 3 shots. VoS can get pretty hairy if you take 3 shots per mob. Be forewarned. FP (forsaken plains) is a very good place for XP up until about 64 then the area around Devastated Castle. If the entry areas of VoS are too hard you might want to stay near Devastated Castle until 68 or so. If you can handle VoS it is awesome for both XP and drops up until 72.
