So I'm curious, if anyone else on Erica is geting this huge amount of lag. I have a 50 or lower ping most of the time, and the lag spikes are ridiculous, i know a few of my friends are having the same problem, most are on the west coast, as am I.
Just wondering if anyone else is getting this, on erica or any server for the matter.
Welcome to pre PTS lag. Happens each time before release and wont go away until PTS is over.

Nah, we always have lag. You know, after PTS is before PTS, and so on.
I have had annoying (not unplayable) lag for several weeks now. Stuff like clicking a target and it does not register, or clicking somewhere to move and my toon starts walking a second afterwards. I cannot really tell what it is, but sometimes only people from a certain region have lag (like "all people from Germany" or "all people from Sweden" and so on), so maybe it is not NCSoft's fault, but more a general Internet problem. Things like the new Warcraft expansion with millions of players downloading a patch at the same time, or a new downloadable Vista beta have caused severe lag, too. Maybe it is just some backbone somewhere reaching its limits.
Same thing happened on Bartz last night. Was decent until about 11:00pm CST then the lag became too unbearable for me to get my Elven Scout to level 20.
