Im in D gear, and since i have 360 sweet fluid already i was wondering about buying a D fishing rod to do some fishing.
So... is it possible to earn money by fishing in low levels? If yes, how much i should investigate to my fishing skills... I wouldn't like to spend more than 100k for that, would that do?
Or i should forget about fishing until im in C/B grades?
P.S Does sweet fluid quest stacks with other quests. Becouse i had never got the Sweet Fluid and Quest item xxx by killing only one mob, it gives either Fluid, either Quest item.
The best fish to start fishing for profit is in yellow range (mid-30 lvl skills or so). The D-grade is more than adequate for it. Prefer night fishing, it's much more money for you. If you aren't in the yellow range yet, start with the highest level of fishing masteries you can reach. If you have already outgrown yellow fish range with your fishing skills, you can use yellow pot that you can buy from a fishing NPC.
The jade scales are actually pretty valueable (the yellow ones also though). Have a look at the requirements for the recipes to craft (in order of most profitable) the feathered hat, artisans' goggles and party hat and try to fish for a coloured scale that appears in one of them. :)
As Mentioned above Scales are certainly one area to make a quick buck in. Also Fish Gems & Shiny Fish gems sell quite well and anything u have left make proofs/Greater Potions with. You aren't gonna get any mats except part mask til u pass 40.
