I thought it was just me. I'll stop trying to fix it on my end.
I log in, can't move, PC's take a minute to appear, still can't move, a minute later for the NPC's, still can't move, wait another minute or two (not able to move) and eventually get the "You have disconnected" pop up.
Well they actually have to re-imburse people with exp rez's for such a thing like this so i would assume items lost such as that would have to be returned, luck enough i have a char logged right on it who might be able to even get off a rez on me but we will see
Something i could drop at any moment? I was killing mobs that i couldnt die too unless i got attacked by pvp, which is why there was a group of my clan 2 rooms away which they would have had to go through, now with that in mind, the ONLY reason i dropped it was because their servers lagged.
If you take that reasoning dont expect a exp restoration
I wouldn't expect xp restore really. Imagine the amount of people they would have to reimburse. Though maybe they will roll the servers back. Cross your fingers - and hope they won't roll them back to before you got the sword :p
no, they dont. and that item is made to be dropped...id say youre sol. seems kinda silly to pay for something you could drop at any moment.

Well the sword just disappeared which works in my favour because if they could restore it, they couldnt if someone else had picked it up, i guess it disappears after 30 mins on the ground.

and Grazzt, i can make 100+mill a day when exping so thats not much for me at a high level really, i got 20% out of it in 5ish hours at level 77, way worth it if i could have had it for 2 more days, and yes i was up in a place no one would get me, espeically seeing i play offpeak times.

It's worth it for anyone who manages to level it up. 4x kill rate with no consumables or downtime in Lineage ][ is enough to make people lose sleep/ miss work over.

The point is, the servers have been very laggy those past few days, our wondeful and marvellous GMs kept saying nothing was wrong on their side, and now that the game is totally unplayable to everyone, it seems they keep saying their servers are fine ! :eek:
Maybe if we completely flood these boards with threads about it, they'll finally do something ? ;)

None on my server either, I've just had every possible other error going, e.g neg delta time, general protection fault, screen freeze and my all time fave -
L2 has encountered an error and needs to close, we apologise for any problems encountered -
which translates into -
We're closing your game, you're most likely dead, tough [censored].

It was a bit laggish yesterday, I thought it was me. But I play on a true server, Teon, not a second-class like Hindermoth, which will be merged soon with Test Server. :D
We all know lag happens, right? If anyone says that lag is something they didn't count on then they are, errr, less than smart.
So, if you know that lag happens, you ought to plan for it, right? In other words, hunt in such a way that lag won't kill you. Sure, that means slower exp.
Therefore, if you CHOOSE the higher exp that comes from IGNORING the inevitable lag the you CHOOSE to take that risk and have no right to complain when lag kills you and you drop your lil' Zarache.
ive had the sword for at least 8 hours so im hoping they do, even if i lose 5% thats only an hour, compared to losing a 100%+ from what ill get
They're not going to rollback the servers for one person. They'd rather have you mad than everyone else mad. And I doubt you'll get a reimburse for that zariche either since you make 100 mil a day anyway.

Except we're not talking about a bit of lag that may not turn on your SS once in a while, we're actually talking about unplayable lag that prevents you from moving or doing anything until you read this nice "you have been disconnected from the server" message, and next thing you know you wake up in the middle of the village, with 4% XP less, and all of your potions, scrolls or buffs gone.
I just CHOOSE to play this game, and i'd like to play it if it's not too much to ask from you.

2 weeks ago got an antharas earring drop from a war tag so money isnt a thing, i just need the levels so yes thats why im annoyed.

We understand that you are quite upset about this situation. Unfortunately we will not be able to "reimburse" the Demon Sword Zariche. That particular item is owned by no one, and no matter how much adena you paid for it, it did not permanently belong to you. Also along the same line we will not be able to determine what experience or monitory loss you may have had from not being in control of the sword for as long as you wished. The Demon Sword system is completely run by the server and GM interference is prohibited.
You are correct in the fact that many customers had some form or "lag," yesterday evening This was caused by Internet providers on the west coast of the United States. This issue effected almost all Internet users attempting to connect to any service located in the western United States. Since you are connecting from Australia this is most certainly the issue you encountered.
We are doing or best to work with customers that were effected by this Internet issue last night, and have reimbursed experience loss and lost items or pets. But unfortunately since NCsoft did not cause this Internet issue and had no control over the issue, our ability to make every customer happy is limited.

I did not hear 1 single person from west coast having problems with their internet providers
Well there was 3 or 4 providers that had problems, pity i have forgotten the link to where i saw, since the names of the ISP was there.
I think almost all of us here that have played for a long time have died several times due to lag, and that was when you could drop stuff if you died to mobs. All you had to hope for was that you was able to get back to ths spot first and that they didn't restart the server.

i would LOL if they "accidently" wiped kain and started over. boo hoo. i only got to have the cheater sword for 6 or 8 hours or something, and then i lost it. i demand the cheating that i would have done with it, if it had been mine for the maximum cheat limit, get refunded to me. boo hoo.

i was the first legit sps(the first was wravenn who got banned later, and he was not legit) to 75 and i think the 1st or 2nd to noble, legit, did it all active sorry to tell u.
