Quick recharge question

Since you don't get new recharges after 74, does it mean your recharge won't be optimal on level 80 characters or does enchanting it help with that?

Basically I think you can enchant up to 5 levels above without penalty, so 79 would be the max?
Its not the skill lvl that matters, its the recharger lvl.

If ya want to fully recharge a lv80 player you need to be lv75, thats all.
Huh?And i thought that the lvl at which you take the skill would be the deciding factor.Oh well...

wrong
my se started failing recharges last time i lvled, fair enough its only a 1 mp loss but it still sucks
+1 recharge is actually counted as a lvl 76 skill so with that you can recharge a lvl 80 person with no penalty
No SE/EE would level Recharge beyond level 1 if it was there level that was decisive, not the skill level.

Would be a good change though. :p
Thanks for the info!

And yeah, they might have to think of something if the level cap continues rising hehe.

sorta
the way the enchant system works is +1 is counted as a lvl 76 skill +4 is counted as lvl 77 and +7 is counted as lvl 78
so if NC are doing things right a +4 recharge should work perfect on a lvl 81 toon
So does a higher enchant on recharge give more mp or it just allows the recharging of a higher level char?
there are 2 branches of enchanting for recharge
cost and power
as i understand it power will make you recharge for more while cost will make your recharges cost less
the prefered enchant is cost but i couldnt tell you why

i had an ee friend who accidently enchanted for power and while trying to blow it up to change to cost got the skill to +9 and decided to keep it that way
Cost goes down for every enchant, but power doesn't go up every enchant. It might be worth going for power, if you're mostly recharging nukers, but for other classes, cost is more worth while.
So what's the decrease in cost? Is it really worth it or just a drop in the bucket that going over +1 does not make sense?
Nonono!

If you are recharging nukers, the smaller your recharges are, the better ><

Why is that? I didn't think it made a difference. Never actually looked at the numbers :o
Higher mana gain works per recharge - therefore, the smaller the bits and pieces in which you recharge a nuker, the more MP is generated for MP spent.
Yup, higher mana gain is a fixed bonus to every recharge you get (I think it's like +81mp for the highest level). So if you could do a recharge that costs 1 mp and gives 1 mp to the target, the nuker would get 82 mp for 1 mp spent. That would be better than the current max of 217 mp gained for 137 mp spent (lvl 74 recharge costs 137 mp and gives 136), because you could do more recharges per mp bar and "generate" far more mp overall.
I see. That makes sense. Glad I went for cost ^^ -Though I would have regardless. :)
