Im a level 16, im with my clan mates and we are having a good time lvling in AC and this person comes along as kills them, the same person that killed me last night.
I found out she is a 52 Perma Red that logs on for about 5 minutes every hour or so at random intervals to greif people in AC for no reason.
Noone thats around at the time she logs on has any chance against her, if anyone comes to help she will be long gone.
Consequnces no longer apply to her basicaly She cant go more red... shes using cheap gear and has a main can easily provide whatever she needs. She has won and can do whatever she wants.
Everyone says how Lineage 2 has 14+ mil sunscribers, ever think they would have more if new people werent detered by greifers?
I feel the line between open pvp and greifing has been blurred.
Find the name of his main.Arrange for him to get a few deaths or if hes too high wait for your moment to come.
Xp at your lvl isnt a problem and as you go up random griefing and pking goes away.

When does pvp become greifing?
Consider yourself lucky.
When the game was young, this happened ALL THE TIME!
Everywhere.
Reds would go to Talking Island and make a night of it. New players would come to the boards and beg for high level players to help.
What you are experiencing is not even a shadow of what used to happen.
As others have said. Just go somewhere else or just bide your time.

wow looking back, those days were horrible, and yeah the new players DO have it easy lol.
there were none of the wandering guards at that time and reds were everywhere!!! *flashbacks*
looking back that's why I left Ti and went to elmore. In those early days the only reds in elmore were enforcers who left you alone if you left them alone. It was great back then lvled my human mystic on the windstone golems doign the quest and Talos the destoyer. I knew every one of his spawns would go for hours killing just his minions for xp. Ah the good ol days

Exactly!
And I think they need to raise the level on those guards. I was in DEV once looking for new players to help when I decided to try to kill a guard to see how hard it would be ("if" I could)
Not only did I easily take it, the guard barely touched me.
dont hunt AC reds love that place
i hunted there knowing full well that any second someone would show up and give me a free trip to town, i stuck around because i knew the xp gain out weighed the xp loss
AT lvl 16 it takes about 7 mobs to get back the xp best advice is find a out of the way grind area and stay in that area. Once you hit 65+ then you should complain about being pked constantly.
After level 40, this sort of thing will rarely happen to you. Just find another place to play. I hate this sort of thing myself. On my server it's even worse, because there are 2 griefers who like to hang out in EG. This can sometimes make it hard to get the level transfer quests done; you end up asking for high-level protectors or waiting a day or 2.
A low lvl being griefed by a permared shouts out "HELP HIGH LEVELS, PLZ!" No one shows up to help. :(
A system announcement that the holder of Zariche has just logged into a certain area. Suddenly, all high lvls SWARM to that location as if Galactus has just started invading earth, ready to devour it, and only their combined forces can stop him, impressive. :)
The Fix to Permareds, force any holder of Zariche to log into or be moved, upon pickup of Zariche, into the area of the nearest Permared (or any red). Yes.. this can be abused, but it would be funny.
Nah, "fixing" the current Zariche exploits would basically consist of setting your XP gain, SP gain and drops to none while using it. Then maybe there wouldn't be 10+ heroes all swarming the place a minute after it drops. :)
When I'm on my alts, for some reason "reds" usually end up liking me and showing respect after I talk to them...
Sometimes I just stop exping and go red together with them for a few PKs o.o you make like 1%/mob in lowbie areas so might as well use that kind of exp to work off karma.
It's the difference between beeing a pvper and a casual player/carebear imo. If you're a pvper reds are not of much concern.
A full red 52 that logs every 5 minutes to pk newbies is a walking free goodies distributor. He's sure to drop something on death. Easy to trap. Just inform the right persons.
Also there are several newbie areas away from pks' narrow-minded range. Staying at Windmill Hill without facing the consequences doesn't help to understand the game.
But when you'll be 70+ and you'll be pked or trained, then you'll be able to say "Lineage 2 is so a PvP game... you just need to grind hours of PvE for 3 seconds of frustration in PvP".
As a general rule, 1) always be scanning behind you and around you for PKers. If you see one and can escape, do. If you see one and cannot escape, charge them. PKers are often cowards at heart (why else would they pick on people lower than they are?) so they may think you are a lvl 60 in newbie gear wanting their gear.
2) Make friends with nice high level players. They may park an anti-PKer alt in AC to log in when you PM them that the PKer is there. You run to where they will log in the alt with the PKer following you and lure them to the trap.
3) When you see a red, yell. When you yell include the exact location and name. Just yelling 'Red, help!' isn'e what you need to do. Instead, yell 'PKer dylon westbound from N entrance of AC, fully geared' to give the chasers a better chance. And to encourage the PKer to log quickly.
4) When the PKer logs, mark he exact spot with 1a. If high levels show up after they log, show them the spot. Some will wait for a surprisingly long time to kill them as soon as they log in and collect the gear.
Good luck, L2 is a wonderful game and these intense (and frustrating) experiences are what differentiates this game from mild, soft core ones.
I've gotten a couple doing that, and most Pkers will log and not come back for a very, very long time if they know people are waiting. It's pretty funny.
