Double Rewards happening on other NcSoft Titles...

Why, when Lineage 1 had them so many times, has there never been one for Lineage 2 ?
There is a request for events and with the end game so far away for over 50% of the real players, this would go along way to encouraging the newer players to level and the the senior ones help in getting theirl levels.

Guild Wars announces an upcoming GvG bonus weekend.

As players prepare for the next rounds of the Guild Wars Celestial Tournament, we offer two benefits to PvP players this weekend: double GvG Faction and double Champion Points. The double rewards begin at Noon PST (20:00 GMT) on Friday, March 2nd and end at 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, March 4 (7:59 GMT on Monday, March 5).

I've mentioned this in other threads before, but I don't mind repeating it. :) The E&G team has expressed that they feel that a double experience (or double SP/adena/etc) event is not appropriate for Lineage II. This may change in the future, of course, but at the moment such an event is not being planned.

IN any case, I do feel that having to kill 1 mob as oppose to 2 or 3 mobs in order to get .01% would indeed be innapropriate :p

Splatter would refuse to play during any sort of double rewards weekend I bet.. He has an unhealthy fixation with numbers under 40.
