Those two examples made me raise my eyebrow the first few times I saw it. I've kinda gotten used to "PP", and accepted it, but "kk"? It's easier to just write "m" - since when are people typing more than they absolutely have to?
Well let's see, we already have PR for Phantom Ranger. I suppose Prophet, since we couldn't use PR could have been PO but it's easier to type two P's instead.
You don't get it but we're the tards, that's a good one.
I've never seen an abbreviation for bishop either, well other than "bish".
Now why did you have to go and make everything complicated.
When the mobs don't turn blue, I get frustrated.
Life's like this.
You seed, you spoil, you harvest, you sweep.
I hope my buffs don't fade before i finish this pull. no no no
PP for prophet makes absolutely no sense and i think it's lame
just sayin' :P
almost as stupid as using "kk" instead of "m" for million
It's your choice to use them or not.
******s
Likewise.
awww did i hit a sore spot there cupcake?
yes of course it's my choice. just like it's my choice to complain about it.
Captain Obvious there

yea i get it, but it's still lame.
"could have been PO but it's easier to type two P's instead. "
just say PP. its fun to say. much more fun than cupcake. say it with me. PP. open your front door, and shout, "I love my PP." and all your wildest dreams will come true.
Bishop abbreviation is BP.
PP is easy to type and are the first letters of each syllabe, which makes it fast to link to Prophet. It could have been PT. Just that the occasion of double letters gives the opportunity to type faster.
"kk" is only a mystery for americans and english. Anyone using metric system knows "m" is used for meter. There were already the minute abbreviation "min" that goes to "mn" and "m" sometimes. Also for french (you can blame them on this one 'cause it's not smart), a "m" with one bar above means million, and a "m" with two bars above means milliard (which means billion).
Also the abreviation "kk" is very logical. Adding a "k" every three zeros is more logical than to change letter every three zeros. But if you prefer, you can use ".10^3" and ".10^6".

i usually say pro or proph depending on if the sentence will make sense or not
"we need a pro in this group" :/
third class names are messed up so most ppl just use second class names
i like to call myself a mae every now and again but i get pretty sick of explaining what that is ><
BP abbreviation for Bishop is what I heard on Teon. Maybe not all servers have the same abbreviations.
Warlords don't exist on NA servers, so no abbreviation :p
And abbreviation for both scavenger and bounty hunter is bot. That's how people call me when I use mine Oo
Come aboard... we're expecting you... the LOVE BOAT!
:)
Note: Because SirElrohir changes his avatar frequently... as I'm posting this his avatar looks like the captain from the Love Boat. I'm not insane. Well, not totally.
Forum and internet doesn't mean you can use the word "******s" as punctuation. That doesn't make your post more "kewl" or "leet". Nor it suddendly makes your post funny. :)

Its Mil, or M. Not kk... you can use k only when the number is below a mil, like whats easier to read? 1.1m or 1.1kk?
What about billions? I deal with billions of adena alot.. who sells something for 1.2kkk lol... 1200m.
Imho, I think 1200m to represent billion is just as bad as using kk to represent million.
There is nothing difficult about it actually. It is just different than some people learn it. Saying that using kk is dumb is just about as stupid is saying that using km for speed is stupid and that everything should be in miles...like the rest of the world right? LOL
I dont think it has anything to do with metric vs. US standard. Using km/h is fine. Distance over time equals speed. But kk is basically saying kilo-kilo's. I have a 80 gigabyte hard drive, not a 80 kilo-kilo-kiloByte hard drive. That doesn't make any sense. With money, we would use "k" to represent one thousand. "mil" to represent millions and "bil" to represent billions. This numbering system is somewhat universal and based on the metric system.
