EE or SPS?

I've got to make a decision. My Mystic's at level 15. In a few levels, I've got to start the Class Change quest.

I can't decide between becoming an Elven Oracle, or an Elven Wizard. The choice is driving me crazy.

I'm leaning towards Oracle, at the moment, because I'm actually rather good at playing a healer, and when the party's got the right people in it, it can be a really good time.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind having a SpellSinger, either. I've never had a Nuker, past level 26 (which was a Human Wizard), but it seems like if I went for SpellSinger, it'd be alot harder for me.

Any input's welcome, here, everyone. Thanks in advance.
Hard to say, one is a healer, dependant on other players to get any exp because soloing sucks a big one.

Sps can solo but they are super dependant on MP as they have no good mp regen skills so there's a lot of downtime if you don't get a SE or EE friend.
Yep, these classes are vastly different.

The EE will depend more on players. Usually EEs are not highly needed in average experience groups. I don't want to deter you from playing an Elven Elder, but just keep in mind that it may get frustrating later on when you want to try to gain experience. The problems is, the majority of the game population plays a character over level 60, even if you manage to get into good groups after level 60 you will probably run into a lot of trouble getting there. If you want to level fast I wouldn't recommend an EE unless you already have some good friends that you know will party with you.

The SpS can solo without buffs inefficiently on half hp mobs. In my opinion a Spellsinger is almost like a support damage dealer because in order to level well you will need a recharger, and preferably one with Empower...ermm...SE. But I feel it would be far easier to level compared to the EE because it isn't so "group dependent."

You say you like being a healer, I would encourage you to go that path because they are rare and they are needed, but I wouldn't recommend it if you feel you will get frustrated and just quit L2 altogether. Being a live, good, and well known healer definitely can have its perks...

It is up to you, I have never leveled an EE, but I hear the troubles support classes get when trying to actually level. I don't know if it would be possible to set yourself up to solo if you buff yourself up, get a bow or some duals or something, it is a tough choice, and now that you know a little more I hope your decision will be easier and you feel you made the right one.
EE 56+ is much more fun to play than SpS 56+, even more so in Interlude. The catch is to get to 56+ on EE.
Getting 56+ on EE is not difficult at the moment. Pole parties want someone with vitalise in case of emergencies, and 40->48 you still heal significantly faster than a same level SE (who is usually available boxed).

I have trouble finding single target parties these days because my whole FList seems to be full of polers. :/
That's a matter of opinion. I like my SPS sub far more than my healer class. Being able to kill ANY mob not just undead is big time freeing.
Handling non-undeads for an EE is much easier than for your Bishop.
How's that? Easier maybe because you get defensive buffs but might 3 isn't going to make that much more of a big deal killing wise.

IMO, if you want to kill junk, don't pick a healer.
You don't need to kill them, actually. And if they aren't social with your undeads, you can just Serenade them in place and forget about them.
Serenade rocks so much - it would be my number 1 pick for OEd skill (if I ever got there) should that be possible, and not a day passes where I didn't wish I had single target serenade. x_x
