Where to get the recipe for GHP?

for Greater Healing Potion, that is. Also, it looks like in the library that this is a common craft item, so I am assuming that I can craft these with my Orcs, yes? If so, how do I check the level of my toons for common crafting? It appaears that crafting GHPs requires lvl 5.
If you look in your skills window(active I believe) the lvl of the skill will show up when you highlight the common craft icon. Although I dont know if the lvl requirement is working. I have lvl and can craft lvl 4 and 5 items. Although it is only for me, you might need to be that high to put them into a craft shop?
All the common craft recipes come from Clan Halls.. i know the Giran CH's get GHP and GSAPs and prob other A Grade CH do too
So, can I just walk into a clan hall and buy the rec?
Also, I checked my level 60 Orcs, and both have only level 1 common crafting skill. Is there a way to raise this level on non-dorf toons? I mean, if the library gives info on level 5 Common Craft recs, that would leave one to believe races othan dorfs can get level 5 common crafting skill. On the other hand, I certainly haven't seen this skill from any Orc trainers, so I would not know where to go to increase the level, assuming it can be done.
Common craft skill is increased with the fishing guild rep by providing him with the appropriate # of catching fish proofs.
Common Crafting (the active skill) remains level 1 forever. The passive Common Crafting changes with your level automatically. If you check the Orc Fighter (or any fighter, the levels are the same) skills, you'll see at somewhat random levels a level in Common Crafting.
Ya, how do you get the recipe?
dont bother
cheaper to sell mats and buy the pots
This is getting confusing. One answer is that the level of common craft increases automatically with the player's level (and is apparently invisible to the player). Another answer says I increase the skill level by providing POCF to a fishing guild rep. And I'm still a little uncertain about how to get the recipe.
As far as nameless1's answer, I turn over all mats to my clan. It's not a requirement, but they do help with gear, so I just do.
Common craft levels will raise automatically. Look in your passive skills - you'll see what level common craft you have.
Thanks, Champa, I found it. Now, I guess I will just try bludnering into a clan hall after work and see if I can buy a rec.
Only members of the clan that owns the clan hall can buy. :/
Talk to the clan hall gatekeepers to see who owns the clan hall.
sorry maybe i wasnt clear
for starters your active lvl for common craft is always lvl 1 (just like dorf craft) your passive common craft lvl is your true lvl

its not worth crafting pots useing common craft because the mats needed to make said pots usually sell for alot more then the price of the potion

sell mats --> buy potions

welcome yo the wonders of being a Dwarf :p :p
or atleast honorary Dwarf
hmmm. Well, the rec said 3 Fish Oils and 3 Fish Scales, as I recall. And the GHPs are selling for 4,500 - 6,000 or so on Seigehardt. I've been halfway tempted to start fishing anyway, just to help cover shots and such. Assuming I do my own fishing, would it then be economical to make my own GHP? Also, at level 60, how many fish oils and fish scales might I expect per fish?
What you get and how many, depends on the fish you are catching. To get fish oil you need a low fishing skill, or use fishing potions. Without testing a few different potions, I can't tell you at what level fish oil changes to greater fish oil.
sign up all yor toons for the fishing shot quest -- need those shots
you could prolly get all mats wth NG toon -- it would be cheaper
