WC questions

I am about to become a WarCryer. I am a person that likes to solo and grp so i was wondering if soloing is good with robes or if i should invest in some heavy armor. I would be getting robes no matter what for grping but should i also get heavy or does it not make that big of a difference.

Also i was wondering what weapon is best for soloing. Blunts or duels?

Thanks in advanced
A WC can be played a lot of ways. But, their skills use a lot of mana, which can lead to a lot of sitting around if you go the caster route. Myself, and I think most other WCs, go with heavy armor and duals or dagger for soloing, and melee with self-buffs. You will want robes later on, because at higher levels, you will have enough buffs at a high enough skill level to become a primary buffer for parties. But, I don't think you'll be doing that much primary buffing of groups until somewhere around level 56 or higher. I would tend to advise heavy armor only until you find that you've got enough skills to be in demand as a primary buffer - then you can decide if you want to trade for robes, or invest in both heavy armor and robes.
Also, many people would advise blunts for the stun skills in PvP. But for PvE grinding, maintain the duals or dagger, as the DPS is much higher.
I just rolled a WC myself, at 47 atm, and so faar I have been doing good with Divine set (robes) and top C duals+10. and only selfbuffs and alacrit potions. you cant solo in a catacomb tho, but ivory tower is a nice place, and some books are worth hunting there. been at lower enchanted valley lately to hunt for my 48 books, but realy, dont. buy them. or bring another DD to duo with.
