ok folks its like this, im lvl 22 atm and have around 340k adena (a high level player gave me a bit of a boost gave me 200k adena) Anyway as i was saying i have 340k adena and im lvl 22, should i save the money to buy wepons top d and so alter on, or should i buy mid d. Oh and just wonderin how much adena do mobs at lvl lets say around 30 drop. Ty for you replies. Oh frogot to mention, im currently wearing bone armor, bone shiel+ sword of solidarity.
when you get another 200k you can buy it from the shop (nobody sells them or uses them anymore - most players have passed on from that level and gear set) and your first major purchase of gear will be complete. get past that point and come see us again!
ok, my guild mates said that the money for lets say duals..will eventualy come when i progress into the game , is that true ? Or will i have to be some kind of market specialist of buying and selling. Oh and for how much does the enchant d grade armor scroll/recipe sell.
ty for you suggestion..so you suggest that i should save and invest all my cash into a d wepon :/ ok i hope that will work.
enchant scrolls for armor D are worth around 100k on most servers. if youve got time to learn how the money in this game can be made, i suggest getting a handle on the "manor" system, and do some quests for money: namely these ones...
If you don't spam shots and potions and decide where you hunt based on the money quests available there, you shouldn't have much trouble getting decent gear.
By decent gear I mean you get the low of your new grade when you hit the minimum level to wear it (low d at 20, low c at 40, etc) and the top of that grade when you're about to get a new grade.
You won't be as rich as people who spend months working the market without going out of town, but you should be able to afford gear that is good enough to let you kill white mobs at first and green mobs later on.
The Black Lion quest is particularly good for earning adena and XP at your level. Just be careful when in Abandon Camp. The Mahums are social and it's not uncommon for a PKer or two to make their rounds there.
Also, the Black Lion quest prepares you for another quest in Dion when you get a little higher in level. See Sophya in Dion when you're ready.
As for manor, also another wise choice. However, considering that we are at the end of a Chronicle, do NOT sell your materials in the market just yet. Wait for Interlude. Mat prices typically drop towards the end of every Chronicle, and quadruple with the beginning, as new and returning players come back to see what the fuss is all about.
Take animal bone for example. Right now on Devianne you can find it for about 450a each. But at the beginning of C5, the prices were 2 - 3 times that amount. You don't have to be a market genius to buy low and sell high when the demand is greatest.
Finally, Beebox, if you happen to be on Devianne, at the end of the week I intend to bring my SH out of mothball and I may need to hire someone to pick up my drops. A fast running class is preferred. Will offer one rez per buff round, but will not otherwise guaranty your safety. :) Let me know if you're interested.
... gear that is good enough to let you kill white mobs at first and green mobs later on.
I think what Katastrophe meant to say is, "...to kill green mobs at first, and white mobs later on." Always hunt Green mobs either way, unless you are hunting Whites that are weak to your orientation, skills or weapon.
use a non-grade weapon until you run out of shots. if you dont automate their use the starter ss from the newbie quests can last until your mid or late 20s. for your first d grade weapon buy the highest grade stuff available at the store, different towns offer them at different prices because each town has a different tax (ask any shopkeeper about "the present condition of the territory") dont waste ANY money on enchant scrolls until you can afford to try over-enchanting, before that its just not worth it. note that when you go beyond +3 a weapon may break when you try to enchant it so in order to be ready to try over-enchanting you really need at least two weapons, one for backup just in case the first breaks. your second-to-highest grade weapon can be upgraded later (this process removes enchants) so you can do that when you can afford to spend the ancient adena on it. if at some point you find yourself scraping to pay for ss, take a break from xping for a day and get some manor seeds, or transfer your current gear to an alt and do the starter quests again to get some money that way (you can make some 400k doing all the starter quests in light elf town if you dont have to buy/upgrade gear again). join a clan asap, since they will ussually give you decent d grade armor and maybe even help you with a weapon.
...if at some point you find yourself scraping to pay for ss, take a break from xping for a day and get some manor seeds...
Option B would be to hunt light blues without SS in an area where the mobs drop buff pots. Light blues still drop adena and mats, even if it isn't quite as much as greens or whites, and they are generally easier to kill (although not always).
