overlords and warcrier's power is in the fact that they are very powerful Life draining and sleep.

1vs 1 anyone vs orc mystic; orc will always win if he plays his cards right.

sleep is the fastest in the game, and the drain is the most powerful. set up in cast speed buffs and gear an orc mystic can sleep/drain chain to his little heart's content. way up at 78+ given what interlude brings, there will be no competition anymore; nothing will outdamage an orc mystic for burst damage due to Chant of Magnus.

in huge groups/sieges etc, the role of a dominator/warcrier is to buff and provide the necessary speed at buffing to get the defence lines/attack lines back into the fight as fast as possible. in small scale wars in open fields (given the interlude changes) the dominator's AOE magic seals will land more often; this will give them the needed role of crowdcontrol.
He is giving great advice but you need to remember that you will NOT get shout outs for grouping as an OL. You need to be above all, a team player and have an active clan / alliance. When those pieces are in place, the OL is a wonderful character to play.
I have also found that armor makes the OL. When soloing, heavy was awsome. The OL has passives for all three armor types, so don't be afraid to try the others and see if it fits your style.
The weapons are grand too. A nice blunt works well into B grade. A grade has SoM (very expsensive), a new one handed blunt w/ acumen (excellent overall weapon) or your basic dagger w/ focus. All three of these are good, but if money is the issue, the blunt w/ acumen has to be my favorite right now. Steady damage and it works well with magic attacks.

The downside of the OL is the debuffing. Those spells basically suck right now. Until they are re-balanced, throwing them in mass PvP does little more than waste MP. yes, some will land, but for the most part, the shere cost and how close you need to be for these to take effect is not in your best interest.
Yeah, not to mention that most classes they actually can land on are usually classes you don't care if they do.

Try a seal of silence in the middle of 50 people, and I can assure you most dagger users will get silenced, while anything that casts won't.

As for PvP use, Overlords are nukers in small pvp and healers in large pvp. At what point you change "modes" is up to you.

And if you go OL, you better have a LOT of friends that are willing to create "fun" groups, or else you'll be soloing your way to your subclass.

When it gets to the olympiads, though: acumen, zerk, m.def, shield, might, guidance, dw, empower 3, ww, stun, steal essence, cp cures, sleep. You have a lot of tools to take out a lot of different classes.

interlude patch notes state OL and WC aoe debuffs have been boosted.
WC have no AOE skill yet.

hmmm i havent really read interludes patch notes but are they gonna be re balanced in interlude cuz i would make one but with the crappy rates and the fact that my first character was a treasure hunter so i dont think i get the boost anymore cuz if not i might just go back to my orc monk cuz i dont know id rather play a DD in pvp then a support class

All they did was increase the land rates of a few of the seals. Which does little to change them being useless anyway. Due to the high MP use, extremely short range, short duration, limited effects and resistance by the classes you actually want the debuffs to stick on. :/
Yup, the only time they are really fun is at the racetrack when I am trying to die and get rid of the dusk debuff. Then you just run in and start throwing them all. You will die but it is fun to see them actually be thrown. I would not suggest this in the real world.
Sleep is the OL's friend !!!!

Amen to that! Only time I seem to be any good is when I rush in the arena, throw in my seals and kill 3-4 a-grade archers and daggers until I run out of mp.

Then they come back, get buffed and 3-shot me.
