Hey, I am just coming back to this game for a long break so I've forgot alot about the game....I have a lvl 40 HE and a lvl 31 human wiz right now. I have heard some good things about necros but don't know much about them. Could someone please explain a necro's role in groups and how they do in pvp/rbgs/catacombs? Also, what is the best C grade gear to get for one? And finally, would you recommend a HE or a Necro? Or if you think I would be better off as a Sorc or Warlock, please say so. Thanks!
A necro is a DD who ussually does very well on his own. Even though they dont need groups they can still do very well in them. They are awesome at pvp very hard to take one of these down. the best c grade gear is Karmian and Homunkuls with sa acumen. they are expensive to level cause they need curse bones. But if you got the cash they are one of the easist chars to level. Dont be a sorc. HE are okay and Warlocks can be fun but there slow to level and not the best at pvp.
You can buy Cursed Bones at Hardin's Private Academy for 360 adena each. Almost every weapon in C-grade and above can have a Special Ability (SA). SA's can improve your stats. Acumen is an SA that improves casting speed much like the buff Acumen.
