ok im thinkin about re rolling my tyrant to a OL(gettin tired of playin tyrants lately)and was just wonderin if anyone knows any good lvling guides cuz i havent really played one just heard there hard to lvl up(or if anyone knows any advice on a easy way to lvl them up cuz i was thinkin just gettin heavy armor and a blunt weapon)
Well i'm not sure about levels 20-40 but while your still in NG you can really have some fun and experiment, i was running around in robes and a zweihander, self buffs and life drain / venom and then just bash away with the sword, you can take a bit of punishment plus you can kill pretty quickly... not sure if this is the most productive of ways but it certainly levelled me quick and was good fun :-) I guess levels 20-40 for the first part you can be life draining and kicking some monster butt with some duals (self buffed), as for 30 upwards again not knowing much about it from this point on i would suggest finding someone to duo with?
I'm looking to roll an orcie mystic too. so a detailed 1-40 guide would be much appreciated including levelling spots and gear (ie heavy vs light vs robes - weapon choice at D grade mattk vs pattk etc)
Well i think u guys might wanna try this:
1-20 -> Devotion robes + Dagger or a sword
or -> Wooden light set + dagger or a sword
(Used the 2nd choice and lvl pretty fast)
20-40 -> Just grab Brigandine set if u can and use a Cursed Maingauche
(I used Manticore Set but the heavy might be better, and the dagger has Critical Bleed effect so its good for pve)
From 20-40 just go melee and use drain when u need and if u can manage ur MP well u may also use Frost Flame from time to time.
My setup for 1-19 on any class is heavy set and zweihander. Mystics just swing slower so grab some gsaps if you're on a reroll. Southern part of talking island are those rock mobs and they fall in 3-4 swings of the zweihander at level 12 and up.
hmm actually i dont know i havent really played OL's that much as far as like a pvping class but i was just wonderin in pvp(not like sieges)are they used more as a DD or a support class cuz id rather play a support class then a DD im just wonderin if i should go back to my tyrant(or would a 78 dominator be better in pvp then a grand khavatari)
Overlord is useful in mass pvp as a way to buff everyone in your alliance at once. However, since everyone has and should have plenty of cp pots on them, the overlord spaming ally cp heal is not really as cracked up as it sounds.
This isn't to say that overlord is useless, but, it is definitely a very VERY hard class to level and the benefits don't show themselves until way late in the game (and rely on your clan as well).
ya i re rolled so i dont really care now although i am makin a artisan alt for adena farming so ya if anyone has any good dorf lvling guides hook me up
