I played a few months after L2 Launch but since then I have not been playing. So the majority of this games dynamics I have long forgotten. I stripped all of my characters (at the time) and gave everything to a friend in my guild when I quit. So I am returning to pretty much all are stripped. One character that I wanted to play was a lvl 16 Dark Elf, Mystic.
I tried to get her some experience but she died 3-4 times and Im just not sure how it's possible for me to re-equip even. Should I just start over completely? Advice is helpful. Please post if you can. Thanks!
PS And if I do remake my characters it will take 7 days to get my name back.... *sigh*

Do you still have your noob weapons?
if so, I woudl see if you can take the spore quest in dark elf village. Do that several times and you can buy a better weapon.
Also, you might get the noob buffs which will help.
I once did an experiment to see if I could recover a lvl 20 charcter with nothign but noob weapons... it is possible but can be slow going (for lvl 20)
If you never did any of the quest in the starter town, do them. You sould still be able to recieve the full rewards.
If you did do all those quest, since the toon is low level anyway, you'll be better off just deleting and starting over from scratch. All the lvl 20 and under quest (including some early 20s quest) can have your toon well equiped.

Yeah thats what I thought. Yes, I have done the lower lvl quests, sadly....

Me too, assuming a 16 can group with a 20 for xp/drops with no penalty (if you're on Lionna). Probably not as direct a method of help but the offer still stands! I think I also have several drops and/or quest rewards I've never sold (Bone Gaiters are ones I know I have since I'm still carrying them for some reason, sigh) that you might find useful. Might be able to score you a top NG weapon too (Ol Mahums supposedly drop one).

With all due respect nameless1, I think the problem with this suggestion is the name part. I'd totally agree with you if not for the 7 day waiting period for deleting a character (what's that about anyway?). But another alternative, if it should become necessary, would be to create another character to farm adena for the mystic, until you manage to get decently equipped, then have the mystic pay the new character back at some point (assuming you decide to keep the new character).

How do you meditate mana back efficiently?
and...
What do the color con's mean for each color on a mob?
IE light green, light blue, blue, and white I'm assuming is an even con?
red is higher lvl than you
blue is lower lvl
green is in between
mana comes from sitting and some classes get a skill that gives you mp, party with them!!
Sitting restores Mana and HP. Also some mobs drop herbs that restore mana and HP.
red - very much higher than you.
yellow - higher than you.
white - around your level.
green - lower than you.
blue - very much lower than you.
best mobs to kill are white and green, easiest kills with best xp. blue mobs have a xp penality.
i'm on sieghardt too... if you need some NG gear i have a ton of stuff i'm not using
Thank you guys, everyone has been great! I think I'll be okay now. I just got some basic gear and I think that will be sufficient for now. It greatly helped, you can defiantly see and feel a difference with gear and without, thats for sure.
