A Good job for noobs :P

What is good for noobs to start out on? I thought about these :P

Human: Duelist, Hell Knight, Adventurer.

Dark Night:, Assassin, Bladedancer , Spectral Dancer.

I don't want a job that the party counts on whole lot in battle yet.((Not untill I pretty understand all the game a whole lot more anyway))

So whats good class start off for noobs?

or....they could pick a class they have no clue how to play and get pwned in game by me :)

I'm not sure if I'm qualified to tell you what among those you should choose. Pick what seems fun to you. You'd probably have a great time with any of them, but out of those I'd lean more towards the Human dagger class (called Treasure hunter) or the Dark Elven Bladedancer. I'd go with a dagger or even an archer because they have high damage output.
Whether you pick human or Dark Elf, you should absolutely do these quests. They'll help you out quite a bit and will make things easier for you starting out.

A lot also depends on the style of play you prefer, I don't think it's a good idea to pick a character solely on what is currently popular in parties. Otherwise it's a long grind and not much fun. :)

well you've picked the high end classes ie third class change occupations which will take forever to get to, so you wouldn't be a noob by the time you get there..

Generally speaking if you do want a party to depend on your skills don't role a support class such as BD as you will be expected to know when and what dances to do.

I'd go Gladi or TH for human, or PR AW or SH for dark elf

Just go archer/nuker and shoot at stuff.Leave the ppl that have played alot to worry how you stay alive.And when they tell you "No MP" you dont go and aggro 54512241 mobs okie?

I was taking about archer. :P I wanted to be a ranger in FFXI, but I went with Samurai. So I may just be an Archer this time around..
