some fishing questions

1)are there any whole item drops from a fish?
2)why dont the fish drop recipies any more?(not includeing the rediclouse amount of fish oil rec. drops)
3)what lvl fish do i have to get in order to get the mats for the artisans gogles and also get the rec...since they dont "trade" you for it at the guild members.?

1) No

2) They never did, the rest of the recipes come from clan halls. You can also trade for some of them with the fisherman.

3) You have to fish at night, 12:00am - 6:00 am in game, using luminous lures or prizing winning night fishing lures. The red, white, and black fish get you the parts.

1)If they do, I've never seen it happen...just crap drops from the mobs you fish up.
2)Because the developers are Sadists.
3)Night fishing for red/white/black fish. I think you need a fishing expertise L19 to get the lowest of these fish. Recipe only comes from a clan hall somewhere...not sure which right now.

so does night fishing net you just the colored scales and C5 fashion accessory parts or do you get fish oil scales, gems (etc) too?

all of this is in terms of generalities...
that being said ---
Night fishing will yield =
scales/colored and plain--
fishgems/ shiny and plain ( more plain in lower lvl expertise)
Accessory bits and fabrics

Daytime fishing will yield =
Fish oils of varying quality dependent upon lvl of expertise
Fish scales --shiny and plain but not colored
treasure chests
fish oil recs
fishbones
fish gems -- shiny and plain dependent upon lvl
