Question about fishing...

I read that the water had to be deep enough to cause the breath meter to apaear. I keep trying to fish and get the following messeges:

You can't fish here.
Fishing cannot be used due to unsuitable terms.

I have run to 5-6 different locations and get the same thing.
My question is this, where can I fish?

sometimes not directly facing the water or being just a little bit too far back can cause this error message to appear. Try repositioning your toon a bit and see if that helps.

Also make sure you equip your bait and shots.

It's not the bait or shots. I'll try moving around a bit, thx for the quick suggestions.

Hehe...I can't fish in real life either. I have the baby duck rod, begginer lures, and NG fishing shots.

I have tried repositioning, frome about an inch fron the water to being ankle deep, no luck.

If there was an emote for drinking a beer while reading a book, it would be how I usually fish.

Any other ideas?

If you are standing on the beach you may have to walk out a ways to get into deep enough water.

I was near the elf village. I got it to work, caught 5-6 fish and decided fishing isn't for me. oh well, I'll make money some other way. Thank for all the replies
