Hi, I'm new to retail and was wondering if there was any way of getting rid of when you right click it turn to default view. Cause I keep dying cause I'm not holding down the right click button long enough for it to process and it zooms in behind me. Very hard when you have 10-15 mobs behind you.
what do you mean holding it down long enough to process? you dont have to hold the right button down, just click it once and the camera adjusts so that its right behind your toon.
also if you have a mouse with a clickable wheel, that wheel button will put the camera right in front of your character so you can see whats happening behind you.
but yes the movement with the mouse requires a little getting used to.
Yea that's what I mean, i don't want it to move behind me when i just right click. I want the camera to stay where it's at. But for some reason there isn't an option in the option panel to make it so it does that.
this is an old issue
its related to optical mouses and internet lag
very little you can do to solve it but i find a fresh set of batteries usually helps some
another thing that helps... when you log in, hit the 'page down' key. That way at least the 'default' view is zoomed out so that you don't go completely blind when you accidently hit the right click view reset. It also makes it so that you only have to right click/drag back to where you want it rather than having to zoom back out so you can see then drag the view angle (assuming you play with it zoomed out)

the first time i read that tip i considered it the best advice ever
