OOP 70 SE and 55 PP (will put him in party soon)

optional BD 52 (going to try using him but 4 account hard to do lol)

Questions:

Where am i going? APO? a NECRO? Whats best about these places? When do i leave them and where am i leaving them for?

Looking for some experienced c5 WL to help me out.

TYIA

:)
My main is a lvl 61 Destroyer, not a Warlord, so I can't answer most of your questions. But, I will say the mobs in the front rooms of Patriots are a higher level than CoA, and I recommend you don't go solo at Patriots at lvl 52.
In fact, once I got past level 20s and NoS, it seems like the Necros have generally been tougher than the Cats.
yeah i was a destro too so it might be different for you
i hunted first rooms of branded till they went dark blue, sucked pretty bad but you can pull a fair few rooms
then i went to the back of branded
then at 58 i went to first rooms of apostate
Best place for warlord for 52 is the Basement of evas garden, the monster respawn faster than you can pull and most of the time is very quite no people disturbing you.

Also i use to solo in apostate since my 50(first rooms) with clan hall buffs(VR4 but focus and DW lvl1).My set is BW and my weapon is an overenchanted c (inferior to lance anyway).

AVoid deeper rooms in aposatte till your 58 because they stun a lot and must have at least war frenzy. The same apply for GC first and second room
Think it's called Garden of Eva nowadays. In case the OP is not familiar with it, it's in the Heine area. Ity's a little different to get into, but yes, in low - mid 50s, the lower levels are a good place to pole. For directions on getting to the first level, do a search on my name. Somebody gave me detailed instructions last summer on getting into GoE. once you're on the first level, find the sliding doors. they open on their own every 5 - 10 mins, on their own. Keep going lower until you find a level you like.
Sooner or later, I hope you get some answers from some actual Warlords.
Yeah, me too. Hah, but all the help so far is very apprieciated.

I did 52-55 at Apo first rooms, aside from a short 5% stint at bottom of Eva.

My main priority for this guy is Sealstones, i do want to go 76+ with him but I'd like to stay in cata/necro as much as possible.

Went to the stunners just now in Apo and it seems im heading back to first rooms... Not looking forward to 55-58 on same mobs, im sure they will be bright blue at 58 :(

Should i jump out of the Cata and zip to 58 somewhere else? When do i try DN? Withches? GC seems like a good pole spot tho no sealstones..(i will hunt other places than catas if a incredible xp/drops spot comes up as i can always just buy the stones.)

Oh and now PP starts in grp and still not using the BD

OK. Off to Apo.. check back later ;)
Beware that Beast Lord Groups in GC can stun. In Doom Heavy, I had no problem with this. But when a clanmate loaned me Tallum Heavy at lvl 61, this did become a problem. Also, the mobs at the outer rooms at GC have bleed and slowdown attacks.
As far as stun areas in Cats, just wait until you are a few higher levels than the mobs that stun, then it won't be a problem. At least, that's how it worked on my Destroyer. I'm thinking it should work the same on a Warlord.
The stuners won't be blue in your 58 but you get war frenzy- togle for resistance to stun. But for your own good duo with a SE(warcryer is not bad if not SE present), i always shout for hours to find one and by the way you must have already notice that all other healers(bishop EE) are useless to warlords.
Doom to warlord? i mean yeah you have more HP(-str +con) and more p.def but that's not an issue in warlord(yes you need a lot of hp to bring the train) but since you start hitting mobs the important is to deal some massive damage to heal yourself.
I wasn't recommending Doom, just describing a situation. FYI, I play a destroyer, and I just happened to have Doom in B grade. More to the point, the OP needs more advice from players who actually play a Warlord.
Your setup is pretty standard but if it was me i'd change the LB to critstun but thats just my personal preference ^^
Dont go to apos just yet unless its easy to grab one of the first rooms but at around 55 apo is the way to go. Poling is best done with green or barely white mobs almost crossing to green. If you think of getting tatoos grab +str -con first preferbly +4 -4 and maybe if you feel comfortable after the HP knock grab another +4dex -4con tat. When you get done with apos Giants Cave is a pretty good place to go to.. around 58-59 or so into low 60's and then its off to martyrs or an equal level catacomb. Your main issue is gonna be 'stay away from the stunners' ^^ but my experience from giants cave with -9 con total is that they dont stun tooo bad, lol, just be skilled with you're 2 and 3 boxes and you'll do fine :)

As for up to 55 i'm not too sure where to go.. my memory is kind of faded there, lol, but you could try finding a good spot around in EV or Tanor canyon i guess possibly even the deepest rooms of Branded catacomb but like i said not tooo sure, you may have to look around a bit for yourself there

Ps: I have not played an actual WL class but i did my dorf the poling way from lvl 17 ^^ before you start bashing me though my gladdie spent most his time past 40 with my gf's WL by his side :P so i have somewhat decent insights of a WL along with a fair knowledge of how to pole from raising my dorf
on my sub i went from 48-52 in branded, then i moved (not to apostate because too many wartags) the one on aligator island, great there, once you get past the first couple of rooms, because there are ranged magic mobs. then at around 58-59 i moved to patriots (port from gludio priest) great spot in there, i'm 64 now, and when i'm soloing with oop buffers, 2 1/2 rooms is enough for me to level fast with no break. when i have my 2 friends with me, bd and sws, i need like 5-6 rooms to be constant. i also found after 61 abg, ancient battle ground, was a great place, i had a aw running and gathering mobs for me, and it was awesome, killing sooooo many mobs in 1 swing.
i would suggest getting crit stun sa, it has saved my life a few times.
i don't have any tat setup yet, i'm finding i'm doing great without it. so untill i need it, i won't use it.
any more questions, i'll be happy to try and answer.
Plenty of really great places outside of the catas/necros to level up a warlord. Then again, those places didn't exist when I was that level either. At 52 I think I was leveling on the 1/2hp mobs outside of Oren. Don't be afraid of playing outside; too many times people focus on the end game and miss out on the trip getting there. :)
OK, ive hit a wall.

Set up,

In party: me 58 WL, 58 PP, 52 BD (just leaching, no good dance yet)
OOP: SE 70 (1 more death and shes 69, darn trainers ><)

Im doing Patriots 2nd tier mobs, i altenate a room of 4 and then a room of 4 1st teir mobs, trouble is my SE's mana is near gone after a buff time..

I just use VS and accracy toggle with a shot of howl for the 2nd teir mobs, and VS/acc/howl/anti stun toggle for 1st teir mobs.

Seems awfull slow lvling.. am i missing something or should i just try somewhere else?

I'd try the 8 mob rooms more but they are ALL taken by these incredibly syncronized 9 man parties and you should see the high lvl friends they have that show up when they get trained ;)
hmm right after this post i went to devotions and found that the first mobs dont stun, or atleast havent after 4 pulls on a 8 mob room.

xp is about .80% a 8 mob room and not too difficult or hard on the mana.

think i found my spot for the next few lvls..

the saga continues...
58 WL...
I did those levels up till 66 in medusa rooms, using just a SE (lvl 62) and greater swift attack potions.
66-70 is alot tougher tho, since the high level aoe parties won't want you, and you'll need to form porper groups (5+ at least)

some good places for 66-70 are probably matrys (ent is easy to access place, and the physical resist there isn't too bad, you'll need some form of resist shock tho) and witches is good too. The most basic setup is buffer, healer (will need vr between those 2), bd (sws works too) and 1 more aoe DD (dorf, destroyer, warlord, nuker), you can add more but you'll need to pull more rooms (I start with 2 rooms each way with the basica setup I told you above) and adjust your party/pulls according to killspeed.
thx for the info, yes i found the xtra DD really makes the difference.

after making my last post i met a BH 61 and put him in party (took bd/pp out) and we made made really good xp with 1 big and 2 small rooms.
