1. As a fighter, how do I get healing skills (or do I have to wait till I become a paladin)?
2. I've learnt all the skills available to me (I'm still on the first island). How do I learn more?
3. I bought some seeds and a harvester. Targeted an orc and dbl-clicked the seed. Twice it came up and said it was not successful. Is there certain enemies or something that I have to target for certain seeds?
4. How do I see other characters stats? For example, once I have a healing skill and I see someone having trouble I can heal them.
5. I was told that this game has stuff that is different to other MMO rpgs as I was looking for a game that allowed the players to actually influence the game. I know of the castle sieges and how you can take control of a castle. Is there anything else?
1#. As a human fighter you have a relax skill which will allow you to regenerate your HP.
2#. From level 1-19 you are a fighter, at level 19 you begin your first class change quest. You can then decied which route you want to take. The next class change quest happens at level 35, 37 and finishes at level 39.
4#. You don't.... You can't see the stats of any player in game. If you are grouped in a party you can see your fellow players MP and HP.
1. you need to become either a dedicated healer class or a paladin. the paladin's heals are a bit different than the healer's, as they require you to sacrifice your own hp to someone else's. this is accomplishable ONLY by becomeing a human fighter(level 1-20)->human knight(level20+)->paladin(level40+)
2. you must do the first class change quest to begin learning a new skillset. do this at level 20. every class change quest starts by talking to someone; this website will tell you WHO to talk to by clicking in the library and going to the drop down menu for Quests, and 1st Class Change.
3. you are beginng to use the Manor system. this is a bit more tricky to learn by doing. first of all in order to do it properly 2 conditions must be met; first that you are using seeds that indicate your level range (if you are level 10 through to 20, u use one TYPE of seed; they are all marked, simply hover over them when they are in your inventory and the text will appear. you must use that particular seed on mobs that arethe same level as you. in order to determine that, click the mob and where his Health bar appears, his name will be a specific colour. white indicates equal level monsters.
4. the only thing you can see about other people is their health and mana and CP levels as well as buffs BUT only while in party. out of party this is not visible by any legal means. invite someone to your party and you will see the yellow, red and blue bars similar to yours just with no specific numbers. to see the other player's buff while in party click the TINY crosshair along the grey sidestripe.
similarly you may see a monster's strengths/weaknesses/characteristic attributes by clicking the arrow beside the monster's healthbar.
5. the way players control the game is through the economy. materials obtained from manoring and drops and spoils will become useful to crafting much more useful gear. let me give you an example: a year ago a Dark Crystal A grade Robe set would cost you upwards of 200million for the helmet alone. the set nearly 300m total. due to manoring, spoiling, more players able to contribute/craft, the helmet price has dropped to around 50m. still high but NOWHERE close to the price it was before; all due to how many players require that item and can help supply materials to craft it.
the castle control has become a mere fad nowadays. not MANY people buy equipment from the store anymore as a lot of items are floating around in shops for far cheaper. owning a castle now mostly has to do with how good your clan is, and how much youre looking to use the manor to reap money from hard working players.
5. I was told that this game has stuff that is different to other MMO rpgs as I was looking for a game that allowed the players to actually influence the game. I know of the castle sieges and how you can take control of a castle. Is there anything else?
dawn and dusk competition is an event that takes place every two weeks. depending on who wins (the sides are called dusk and dawn) it influences tax rates, what types of mobs that spawn in the necros, and even graphics in game (the moon changes color). this was an awesome feat by the developers, but on every server dawn wins 99% of the time so its not really a competition anymore. there is the possibility though, if you want to side with dusk and get some friends together you can ninja it just for fun.
PS: pm me and tell what server you're on and ill give you a free tutorial of the manor system and how to get the most out of it.
